Yes, I'm waiting for my season ticket loan to come through too. An annual travelcard is fantastic, as don't have to queue up to renew it every week or month! You also get a gold card, which gets you 1/3rd off train travel in the south east, very useful especially as you can also ask for the zones you have on your travelcard off your ticket too... you can pay £1 for another gold card for friend or family member, so they can benefit too. I don't travel by train much, only about 3 or 4 times a year but probably saved another £50 with it on short south east journeys.Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Hi Both, nice to have visitors. A lovely lady when I registered my Oyster told me about the goldcard, I had no idea it will be really useful. Coffee £2, dinner with friends (and drinks) £32. I have just over £200 in the bank and £70 kicking about in £ coins. I do think that just getting coffee is really a nsd, just one of a certain kind.0

I seem to only have £69 left in the bank and pounds stash, I need to check why. I have £132 to pay in and I am due a £90 bacs payment which should be in on Monday. I need all of that to happen to make a small payment per week, belatedly on Monday. I have just remembered I also have £50 in my purse. The big thing today is to get at least five things on Ebay, we shall see................I am setting myself a £50 target for July. I am £700 short on my payment for July so I need to get busy £2000 per month plus interest is not easy. I have had a 0% transfer deal come through which may be interesting if I can get my head around the maths of the situation. However my major goal is to be mortgage free in less that eighty payments so I do need to get serious.0

It's been a very busy few days. Yesterday I had A NO SPENDING DAY due to the man at Cafe Nero doing 4 stamps on my loyalty card thus giving me a free coffee this week rather than next. I have now sorted out my money and I have had some expenses paid into my account which is a relief. £200 going off the B'card tomorrow my payment a week for this week0

I finished work at 2 today after a very long week, tough stuff. Coffee yesterday and today £4, also fruit £3.98, salad £2.12, milk 58p. I am waiting for an expenses cheque which should cover next week's PAW. I am on holiday for the first two weeks in August and I have paid for the ferry I need to find £400 for the accommodation, next month will be short on overpayments, but hey it's holiday time. No ebaying yet the excuse being it will all finish just as I go away. Still when I get back from holiday I have five whole days someone who reads this get on my case from August 9th. I am £300 away from meeting my overpayment total for this month.0

What a pain my beloved MacBook boiled up this morning and scarily cannot be switched back on even though it is now cool, this is A VERY BAD THING. I've managed to get an appointment at the Applestore tomorrow but if it has died I will be getting a new one (the dead one is four years old). Flipping heck I could do without this................but emailing from the mobile is not a long term solution. Perhaps work will make a contribution I mostly use the machine for personal surfing or work related stuff so I could perhaps make a bit of a case. I don't really do that kind of thing though it is better to keep work and home apart. Blooming mortgage will never get paid at this rate. Just remembered: Train ticket £79, fruit, £7.45, coffee £2.
Scuttles off to price new MacBooks.0
