Must have taken lots of thinking about and weighing up Toots and all those MOPs you've made in between have of course been contributing, so still lots of MFW tactics at play, whichever way you got it sorted (not least by taking matters in hand right from the start of your thread and working very hard to earn what you need) ... so here's to you :T. one down and two to go!
So glad you're enjoying the garden ... hope you get the weather to go with it (and doggy of course) xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Weeeeeeell I could talk about the great brain strain I put into making the decision or I could tell the truth which is that I decided at about 6.30 this morning and just did it - the joys of internet banking. Two more days at work this week and then a long week-end planting up my garden. TT'd 2.45 today.0

Oh congratulation Tahlulah, welcome to the world of the landlady, in the end the rent from my London flats will be at least half my pension so they are worth it. My MFIT will be helped by my pension lump sum when I eventually take it but I do want to make sure I have bought and paid for a car before I stop work. And I will have some savings. I am not clear that I will ever pay off the second flat mortgage but maybe once my house is mortgage free I will think again.0

OK I have just transferred the payment for my landscaping which I am really pleased with, it has made such an improvement to my garden and house. I should have done it years ago! Next up is getting my own flat ready to be rented out which means full redecoration, carpets steam cleaned, a new fridge freezer and getting the pipe to my boiler out of being boxed in so that it can be inspected. Once that is done all that remains is all of the certification etc. So some of today will be spent getting some people in to quote so that I can book them in next month. After the landscaping my savings are low so the flat will need to be cash flowed. I don't see any over payments in August or September unless I get back onto EBay. Needs must I will enter the room of doom this week-end and do the photographs.0

I have walked around the new drive, terrace and garden beds feeling very pleased, this is excellent as often I feel things done in the house don't quite meet my expectations. I can't wait to fill my new beds with some annuals and I have planted some seeds for perennials next year it will be glorious. Unbelievably pleased. This month there will be few overpayments except for tts, I am short on savings and have £100 mad money to fill the garden and no more mad money for the rest of the month.0

Tidied over £2.13 yesterday, and had a no spending day on Friday and Saturday. I am taking my Mum out for lunch and getting ready for a big pitch tomorrow. Really looking forward to shopping for plants next Friday, and I am also scoping pots for putting plants in. I have spent some time refining my budget I should be able to make a small payment extra at the end of the month IF I stick to the budget.0

Good luck on the small extra payment and the budget planning. Currently, only money going out of my accounts, nothing coming in. Luckily, have a good handle on what little money I have, nothing big happening that isn't budgeted for, so will be able to afford all the money currently haemorrhaging out. Keep looking to the bright side, which is that once I have reached a period of stability, in approximately 3 months time, I will be able to get back to some serious MFW action.Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.

Hi Toots, I bet that was a lovely feeling seeing your garden all sorted and ready to go now, it will look fab next year no doubt. Savings well spent as your garden will only get better.
For some reason I thought you were retired now, I must have missed a few posts.0 -
