It is two weeks to pay day so I am going to tilly tidy every day just to make some payments. I am going to go down to the nearest £10, today it is £4.67 I will keep a running total for the next two weeks and see how it goes. Nice to be back in the UK but it is a bit chilly I hope that I didn't miss the summer!

I think maybe you took the sunshine with you but forgot to bring it back!

Glad all's well, but hope you get the chance for a bit of R & R soon! I'm counting down the days to the end of the month too, I don't know what it is with June, it just feels "stuck".

Tilly tidies sound like a good idea, it'll be interesting to see what 2 weeks of that will bring ... are you still within your trial retirement income phase? If so, it'll be great to know you can still put a little by as needed even from your reduced pot! Good luck x

In total I have now tidied £14.87, if I did this every day for a month it would be significant so I am going to make it a daily thing, every little helps. Back at work for eight weeks from Monday not deep joy but the money will pay for the landscape gardening which starts today. I am half excited and half dreading it but hey ho two weeks of noise and turmoil for massive improvements will be worth it. So real retired life starts in September, I really do need to buy a car, anyone any view on a Fiat 500 versus a VW Up?

Yes. In my opinion, after weighing up technical info, specs, prices, reviews etc, the 500 is much cuter. Especially in cream with red and green stripes.

    Hope this helps :D.

That was my thinking too GG, driving in the Italian flag feels good and lively.

I have tidied over £32.76, I do realise I am late to the tidying up but it does look like the way forward once the big payment has been made at the beginning of the month.
Back to work for eight weeks tomorrow, hey ho......
