What a beautiful dog, she will be such a gorgeous BIG dog. Clearly these boards are full of dog enablers!
The sun is out - thank the Lord yesterday I thought it might be time for the Ark. my niece is arriving soon to help me de-clutter she will have all things de-cluttered for her car booting career (such is the life of the young on minimum wage) I am proud of her sorting out her car booting and EBaying so she can help herself.0 -
No spending day yesterday and no sewing either, still the house is very tidy and I have done a lot of cleaning too. Everything does feel better when it is clean and tidy at home. Raining again, we have hardly seen the sun since Thursday, I hope it cheers up soon.0

The ark may yet be required, it is still raining here.
Paid the landscape gardener for the materials last night very, very spendy but worth it in the long term. I am going to cash flow the remainder so any overpayments in the next two months will be small. Off to stay with friends in Ireland next week and then off to work in Florida for a week - so excited about this one I have never been to Florida and I doubt it can be raining there!0 -
Thanks for telling your story Toots, I've just read through your entire diary. One thing that stuck out for me was that in your early posts your coffee treat was costing you £2 a time but the last time you mentioned it this had grown to £2.25. Over 10% in just a couple of years or so.0

Great to have so many options yet still know you are doing a kind thing for a pooch in need! GG's site has also been added to my lurk list too, oh dear, the amount of females with pups just "left at the shelter gate" is heartbreaking!
Lots of excellent news on here though Toots... all that decluttering and house cleaning whilst rain stopped play outside! Hopefully it won't rain off the landscaper!
Lovely to hear about your planned travels too, have a lovely trip x

Morning all, nice to see you Spamtastic, thank-you for reading all the ramblings. One morning I bought a coffee and it tasted bitter so I have never bought one since! Occasionally I have a free one in Waitrose it's the most MSE thing I do.
Back to London this morning, it is still raining, off to Northern Ireland tomorrow where there have been severe weather warnings... good job I enjoyed those sunny days. No doubt the weather will be wonderful when I am back at work, take a tip and book your holiday from the 23 June.

Enjoy N Ireland. It needs the rain to make it green.

Ah well you don't expect great weather in Ireland, that's a good job looking at the forecast. Pay day so I have moved £1000 into my offset, I need to build up some savings for the garden works. No spending yesterday.0
