Beautiful morning here I am looking out over the lough, have seen seals and the fishing boats go out, blissful start to the day. Moved over a second £1000 yesterday to see how I manage on the sum I will get for my pension which is £2k a month less than my full wage. I am going to construct a budget - there's a first! and see how I get on. I expect it will take me months to work out living on a budget. I see from others that dealing in cash and envelopes are the way forward, now I just need to make that work, and make the envelopes.0

Scoots in two pints of Guinesss to the worse, have moved over £2500 into the offset order to have a CHALLENGE. May be mad, may not work but if it does that is the garden paid for. And after all one week of this month I am in Florida on expenses woo and indeed hoo.0

OK I am in London today getting ready for going to Miami tomorrow, lots of washing and ironing. I had 2 NSDs in Ireland which was a great few days by the coast. I am going to try and go to the England match on Saturday if I can work out transport. Once I have packed a case I need to write some materials for the work in Miami and also prepare a presentation of what \I do so they don't think I am a fool, which they may as I have been pretty useless on the arrangements (terrible confession, I really miss my P.A I have learned how lazy I have been about things like travel arrangements, document scanning etc - the shame of it). Still no doubt I will learn and now I do have time to do my own admin. I have £610 to last me for the next four weeks, we shall se.0

Exactly ^^^ this ^^^ it's your thread after all, to be honest if you just talked about the football I wouldn't keep coming over! The challenge for the month sounds great and I shall definitely keep checking in to see how you're doing with that and with the budgeting side of things.
Glad Ireland was good, well done for managing 2 NSDs whilst away! Have a good trip and good luck with the work end of it! xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

You are certainly moving around a lot at the moment!
It'll be fun to see the England match, hope you get a chance to do that
I'm not too hopeful about England's World Cup chances this year. It's going to be tough for them to overcome both Italy and Uruguay ( especially as Uruguay will almost be on home turf in South America).
We go on holiday on 28th June, the weekend the last 16 matches start. We felt that England would have gone home by them.... But would like to be proved wrong!
Enjoy your travelsEarly retired - 18th December 2014

Morning visitors. I am at the airport all checked in and calm - great. I have tickets for the football and the hotel are arranging transport my American colleagues are a bit bemused so I have been on a big campaign to get some of them to come with me and now we are a party of 7 oh what fun. In the US I always try and go to some american sports event so it will be a change of circumstances getting americans to the soccer, they are very intrigued by the singing so I hope there will be some. The cult of Beckham is strong in Miami.
I have also looked up some estate sales for Sunday so there is a great opportunity for acquiring more tat In a fit of unusual activity I wrote my presentation and the outline of the report I will be doing so I can have a guilt free week-end of self, self, self before starting work on Monday. Really looking forward to the next week in a city I have never visited before.0 -
Enjoy.
Why do you describe 'estate' as 'tat'?Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.
