I appreciate the girly pink, and the eyelashes add a certain something. Still would not be seen dead in it! Hopefully!Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.

OK, OK test drive booked on Saturday. Quite excited. I am back at work for nine weeks it was my first day yesterday and it was fine, really different not being the boss - different in a good way. But all my bad spending habits were back, coffees with colleagues, lunch out, I can't find my travelcard so I had to do new pictures to get a new travelcard. Monthly travel paid for. £100 + gone in a day. I tidied over another £6.01 in the past two days. I have managed to live on my reduced funds (pension figure) no problem when I wasn't working full time but it will be harder whilst I am working.0

Tilly tidied over £17 this week. I have been offered a six month CEO role to set up a project, starting in September, the job would be walkable from home. I like the idea of this one it will be enjoyable. If I can get them down to four days a week I will do it. That will also cover off my fear of winter being a bit depressing. And I will get to know more people locally which will be good. In that six months I am going to target my smallest mortgage, that one needs to go and if I am working I need to make big progress whilst a full wage is coming in.0

Wow, great opportunity Toots ... who knew that you'd prove to be so popular in "retirement"! Let's hope you can talk them into the four days you want!
How's the new garden shaping up?
Good luck for the test drive tomorrow ... I used to have a Fiat panda and I loved it (even though it felt like I was driving around in a sardine tin)! xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Great opportunity Toots :T.
HBB - I used to have Pindy Panda, loved her very much :jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Drove the Fiat 500, I am automatic only and this was a bit tricky as it is a semi-automatic which is too like gears for my skill level. My next try out is a VW Up so if that is good that will be the way forwards. The job stuff is very unexpected to me but I am excited by the latest offer which is a very good thing. I seem to be spending hours with a calculator as I had assumed that whatever happens I should defer my pension however my accountant says it is a bit swings and roundabouts with a civil service pension scheme so I am in a quandary. Tilly tidied £78.12 so I had better get paid at midnight otherwise tomorrow is funded by buttons. I have taken down my signature until I have worked out where I am tomorrow.0

I have the final payment for my landscaping in the garden this month so no mortgage overpaying early in the month. I will tidy bits over each day and set a weekly budget. I have just worked out that this is a five week month so I will need to make sure that I stick to the budget or I will be back in the overdraft. The new garden is looking great I am so pleased that I have had it done, the greenhouse arrives on the 9th July which will be the last piece for the garden. Well there are the plants for the new bed but I am growing them from seed and have already started.0

I am now down to two mortgages sadly not by dint of ninja over payments but in the interest of simplifying life. I have moved the balance of the mortgage on my flat to my house. I paid off the flat 12 years ago but remortgaged for the downpayment on my second buy to let flat a couple of years ago. I imagined I would pay off the third mortgage quickly but I didn't and I like being mortgage free on one property. I am NOT having any more buy to lets I want the mortgages paid off now. I have closed the mortgage on the flat so I do not get tempted by easy access to the deposit from that property. I must not be asset rich cash poor in retirement! From August it is all out on targeting mortgage number 1. I am full on MFIT from August.0
