  • Flat full of furniture, failed to set up an EBay sellers account, they just wouldn't let me, VERY frustrating will try again today. Need to sell some furniture to have a path from the living room to the kitchen. No spend day yesterday and probably the same today as I just need to get sorted out so that here is calm and a pleasant place.

I have also decided that by Christmas I need to just have my mortgage. My 0% offer runs out in February 2011 so £1500 a month off the credit card from now on. I really need Ebay to let me start selling.
  • Hello - glad to hear the move is going well, I find moving so stressful! I think with ebay you have to have some ratings before you can sell, so you may need to buy a few things (even stuff for 99p) and pay immediately - in a week or two you should have good enough feedback to sell.

You can also try selling it on gumtree or local advertising if you can't wait that long.

Good luck with clearing the credit card. And think it is a hard time for graduates too, just not enough work around. May things improve quickly.

  • I have just made my first ever meal plan, I will empty that pesky freezer (and not just keep on buying food). Next on my list is completing the unpacking in the living room. Then I need to get on my hands and knees and scrub the kitchen and bathroom floors which is a hideous prospect.
If I do it properly then I should just be able to use a mop for a few weeks until the next deep clean. I am no longer mountaineering over the living room rubbish but I do have to mountaineer into bed from transfered to the bedroom rubbish. I have also worked out what I must pay to the mortgage and the credit card next month on my theory that it won't be expensive living in London in October.
  • coffee £2, busy, busy day and a tough week I'll be pleased when September is over. Exec planning for the next three days.
  • Woo, hoo today is a NO SPEND DAY. Work still hideous but another day down. Two days of sticking to my meal plan.
  • Coffee £2, drinks in the pub £9.89. Last day of planning meeting at work so hopefully home a bit earlier tonight. Quiet week-end this week to get ready for the changes coming out of the planing days. Still sticking to the meal plan and waiting to hear how the work on my house is going, first walls down today.

  • Hi HWG, coffee is going after Christmas to contribute towards paying a cleaner. I know where my money goes which was salutory and whilst I have made a lot of changes I am not at Old Style yet. Spends today £2.

A cleaner is something that i would like but i know I would clean up before they arrive which defeats the object, I will continue my own cleaning and moaning for the time being maybe oneday.

  • Coffee £2. The end of a long and difficult week. I'm not going out tonight and I am really looking forward to an early night. I am creating a list to achieve this week-end, back later with a plan. Still on meal plan, need to buy vegetables.
