Well done! Running outdoors is the most fun way - we had a gorgeous sunset as we were running on Wednesday night, it was just perfect - gorgeous views, adrenalin high from the exercise, and that smug feeling that you've earned that biscuit with your tea
It's good to have company too, and your kids will love it.0 -
Hello !
I haen't posted here for ages, but I still trying to get to 5k mark. My workout is now: 2min run, 2min walk, six times. I've noticed I can make a shorter breaks between running. Next week I'll try 2min run, 1min walk, six times, four time per week.
See you soon!0 -
Good morning! I have completed W2R1 today and who knew adding thirty seconds to each run would make such a difference in how tired one can get! But I still feel great about it and ready to do it all over again on Tuesday.:D0

Hope you're ok, Poly1 - I am thinking about you, and about your girls x
Hello, sorry for not updating, unfortunately I have had to stop the running, I am getting quite tired with all the traveling and am now unable to wear support  so running is not really possible. Seems like by the time I am able to restart I will be back to square one but at least if I am I know that it is possible to get to week 4 without collapsing in a heap :rotfl:

W2R3 is done! I've been sleeping really well these past few days and even woke up before my alarm went off at 5:15 this morning. I'm feeling more determined than ever to do this as last night I went to check my email before bed and I had an email from my husband, (something he hasn't done in years) saying how proud he was of me for dieting and the C25K and can see a difference already, as I've been on the diet for months and no matter what size I am he would always love me. It was enough to make me cry. I have a wonderful family.:D0

Am really pleased that I have completed the runs for W4.
It feels like I have taken a long time getting here, but have had to take at least 2 days between runs, as my shins have been very sore, and I have needed a longer recovery time.
I am just wondering whether I would be better repeating Week 4 again, rather than going on to week 5. Any thoughts?Need to lose 23lb, but need help!:( DFW Weightwatcher: 5lb/26lbDecluttered in Feb - 49/100, Mar - 82/100

I would say just go onto week 5 run 1 and see how it goes. If you feel it too tough then go back to week 4. Are you stretching after your runs? I know it says not too but I would always recommend to stretch after a run and that could be why it is taking you longer to recover.
HTH And well done for getting to week 5 :TRestarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed

Congratulations on completing Week 4!:T I did W4R2 today and will do my next run on Friday. Are you running outside or on a treadmill? On my last two runs on the treadmill I had the incline on 2 and usually I have a bit of pain in one leg and these last two runs I have not had any as I read elsewhere an incline can help. Also in regards to repeating Week 4 again, I agree with alliwantistosave is to try Week 5 and see how it goes, as this is my motto for every week I try!:D;) Good luck!0
