Who would have thought, three whole threads and I still haven't finished it :rotfl:

Well done everyone for keeping going :) and welcome any newbies!

We are using the podcasts from here: http://www.ullreys.com/robert/Podcasts/index.html

Shiney new thread :j

    Thanks Drea! :j

Welcome to everyone who joins this thread.

Very friendly & supportive and well worth it

Drea - have you thought about running to your own music, rather than the podcast for one session. I know the few that I did like that were some of my best ever runs, just got lost in the music. Might just help you get over this tough patch that you're going through :)
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

I was actually thinking of doing that earlier, I'll try make up a mix and see how it goes :)

It's annoying because I know it's all probably in my head, just need to get over it somehow!

For all of us who are nearly there, I have been looking for a podcast to run to. I want someone in my ear telling me what to do. I have found these http://www.runsource.net/index.php?option=com_weblinks&view=category&id=58&Itemid=371.
I am downloading them as I write and I might try the first one out tomorrow. It seems you go back to interval training. I will have to see what the weather is like. (big wimp.);)

Oh my goodness. I have just listened to one of the podcasts. If you thought Roberts music was bad you should hear this:eek:

Had managed to talk myself out of running tonight, but OH had other ideas and shamed me into it.

Did ok, did my normal route, but did have 4 or 5 brief walky bits (only 10-20 secs). Still, better than sitting on settee I guess.

Really not sure why I seem to be heading backwards.

Drea - I've decided it's not music we need, but Paul McKenna!

Wk1R2 today for me and it was good. I'm really enjoying getting back into running.

I bought some fab three quarter length trousers from M&S today for £9.50 which I thought was good value. I do like to have nice running gear.

Mumto2 - I am feeling exactly the same, I seemed to peak about 10 days ago and now I'm getting worse.

I did my run tonight, supposed to be wk8 run 1 (again as I didn't manage it the last 2 times). I did about 17 minutes and then stopped for a few seconds... ran for another 8 minutes, stopped again for 2 mins, and then ran until the end!

So probably ended up walking for 2.5 minutes, running for 25.5 minutes :(

Can't seem to even get the 25 mins anymore, though I know I can do it as I've done it 3 times already! Grrrrr

I have the 9.50 tight cutoffs too and agree they are good, just as good as the pair I spent 18quid on.

Completed W6R1 tonight as looked too hot before work. I left the carpark just in time as I had been doing a few stretches and just as I drove out a load of boyracers pulled in, could've been embarassing!

    Oh no, it's catching

That's exactly how I've been feeling.
