    I dare you;)

I do actually think it's easier. After this week it moves to nine minutes and then ten minutes etc. What have you got to loose? So long as we get there eventually does it matter how?

Go to go now and take the "olds" shopping:)

It says the first week is 7 minute runs?

I could give it a go, if I had longer than 1 minute between them. Although it's still 28 minutes but with walking between.... I wonder if I could do it.

I've managed to do wk7 run 2 this morning - and I ran it outside, where everyone could see me. Ok so I ran at 6am so there wasn't anyone to see me as I plodded on but there was potential for people to see me running. I did struggle again and I'm sure I was slower than I run in the gym but I made it :D:T. I have also just received my shiney new trainers which will hopefully help with the pain in my knees.

No!!!!! I am at work and our new heart rate monitor /"training computer" is arriving today (well, jsut got tracking information and it says 'out for delivery').

I hope that either I can go home early and it will arrive when I am there, or I can collect it tonight and test it out in gym!

Thats because the link from Dreas post goes to the truncated url i.e. "http://www.runsource.net/index.php?o...=58&Itemid=371" whereas yours goes to the full url "http://www.runsource.net/index.php?option=com_weblinks&view=category&id=58&Itemid=371"

    Oh no, it's catching

That's exactly how I've been feeling.
    Seems it is.
I avoided my run last night... :o I really should go tonight.

I like the sound of the interval runs that teachergirl posted about. Somehow 4x8 mins doesn't seem as hard as a whole 28 minutes all in one go.

I mean, if I for people who do marathons or half marathons, do you run for the full distance..? I think most people must stop for a few minutes to recharge their batteries. That's why I think Ullrey's final couple of weeks are so difficult and feel impossible.

I think most people who run half or full marathons do run the whole way - I have to say I walked for part of the great north run though as it was the very hot year in which 5 people died.
I have run over 11 miles without stopping in training though (a long time ago) so if I can do it anyone can.
