Did week 2 run 1 last Sunday but haven't been able to get out since so did week 2 run 1 again this morning and aiming to go out again on Tuesday night after work.
Reading how well you are all getting on inspires me to keep going - well done to all of you.0 -
Week 7 run 3 done today, it had started raining so I ran indoors in the gym. I managed to zone out for a good portion of the time and even sped up for the last 30 seconds. Went swimming after for 30 mins as well. Going to take the bike out now - this fitness thing is taking over.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

Oh I used my own music and just ran for 25 mins - Roberts music choice is not my taste.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

W7R1 done now. It seemed to go really fast this time. I was driving back afterwards and felt like it had been ages since I had done the run.
Think I might have pulled a muscle in my groin though! my upper inner thigh is twinging a bit. It has been like this the last 2 runs. Can anyone suggest a good stretch I could try? Don't want to have to stop running.

Well done all of you getting out there, I find sometimes I am stiffer than others, just must be how it goes...I keep thinking even if I don't manage the runs as they go on, I am doing sooo much more than before (ie.nowt!!)

Got shamed into running again by OH last night! Did a 5km circuit I'd planned on mapmyrun. Had quite a few walky bits (only for 10-20 seconds each time) but did it.
Doing my Race for Life on Weds, so probably won't go out again till then. Might do a brisk walk tomorrow if little one will sit in the pram for long enough:p
Come on everyone - keep posting your stories (especially Teachergirl)
 Just been on mapmyrun and realised that the run I did yesterday was only 4.5kms - not sure where I'd got the distance from. Have worked out a new route that def is 5kms, but that will have to wait :mad:Now proud Mumto3 :j0 -
finally got out after a 6 day break to do week 5 run 1 and i found it surprisingly easy compared to week 4!
i dread the run 2 though, it seems like such a jump.
