69chick - you never know it might make you feel better - just make sure you drink water before and after to keep you hydrated. Let us know how you get on - you can do it!

As I mentioned earlier, my knee and ankle were sore as i was running on Sat night. Well by the time I got up on Sunday, my ankle has swollen up. Not sure what ive done as it was just really uncomfortable. I dont think i strained anything. So my run for tonight is off. Not sure how long i'll have to rest it for and a little worried i'll start to fall behind as i dont know whats caused it!!

I really dont want to have to start repeating weeks as im only on week 3. im really annoyed with myself, or at least my body!!

It is only 30 mins, just think in the same time since you wrote this you will be back with a nice cuppa and glad you have done your run. And you won't have to do it tomorrow instead!

    Good luck X

Angela6834 sorry to hear about your ankle, hope it's not too painful. Maybe a bath or light walk would help?

My inner thigh is still a bit sore but I don't know whether to rest it or keep running and hope it eases off. I don't want to fall behind either but I think it is probably better go rest any strains etc than risk having to stop for even longer.

I just feel like there must be something that would help, but don't know what!

Went out after all, just had a nice shower and about to have a lovely cuppa :coffee:....Thanks for the motivation u01jet4 and Primmer..:)

I found it surprisingly ok (I did wk 5 run 1 which is 3 lots of 5 min runs) it was nice because the rain held off but it was cooler than it has been....

I am unsure of the next one though as running for 8 mins in one go just seems

angela6838 sorry to hear about your injury, maybe you should get yourself to the docs to get it checked out....I would have said though you are right not to run on it (not a medical opinion obviously)...

Cookiemum well done :T to running for 20minutes...

I always go very red and finds it takes quite a while to disappear altogether. I always do the cool down walk with what I hope is an 'Ive just run a long way' look on my face, so dont look strangely at me while you drive past or saunter by with your dog!

    Evening Ladies,

I had a super busy week last week so didn't have the time (or energy!) for a run. I did make it out on Sat though. Even though I was in the park at 08:30 it was bloomin hot!!!!! I'm afraid that I didn't complete my Week 9 Run 2 - I did about 20 min which I'm happy with, at least I'm moving!! I will try and get out tomorrow night, but it really is strange weather. I don't know what's worse for running - hot, wet or muggy!!!! :D

Well done everyone, you're all doing fabulous :j
