Well I was really far down but at least I'm not last - it should (in theory!) make us head out and get running!

:rotfl: I'm 997, It took my yesterday run into account :T you're right about making us want to get out, I'm determined to get out tomorrow.
  • Week 2 run 1 done today :j I'm so pleased that I have managed to go out 4 times now.

Have been stretching before I go out and when I get back. This has made a big difference no stiffness and my bottom no longer hurts :D So thank you for the advice.

I'd not joined any challenges until that one. I've just joined another and I'm kind mid-table. I will have a look at the name when I get home from work

    It is good motivation though!
  • Flissh - Well done! Inspiration for those struggling around the week 5 mark :o

I did another run - week 4 run 5 (yes i know, there's only 3 runs but i just can't seem to move onto week 5, I will tomorrow).

My ipod has just asked me if i want to sync to nike+. I have + trainers but never got the little thing to go in them but didn't realise my ipod pedometer worked the same. I may give it a go.

    Happy running people!

    Hey TRH, Week 5 Run 1 isn't that much different from Week 4 - I'm stressing about runs 2 and 3 though ... 2 x 8 mins and 1 x 20!!! I might stay on run 1 for a while ;)

Is the nike challenge only for people who use the Nike +? I did a search and couldn't find anything :(

Sounds like it's a worthwhile device though, I usually take my phone and map my run with GPS through the MapMyRun website.

My next run is on the weekend, will try for Saturday morning so can relax the rest of the weekend :)

The one I've joined is 12 miles a week for 2011 - there are 52 people taking part and i'm 21.

Can't remember who asked as I'm typing this but I think it is just for people who use Nike+ as you submit your data to the website so they know how far you've run etc. If you get more into running its worth it

run 3 of week 1 done, but I'm struggling :o I get a horrible pain in my calves, it feels really tight. I'm guessing it's just the muscles getting used to running, but if this pain wasn't there it would be so much easier. The pain puts me of running and I really want to be able to run. Any tips?
