skintlass, I've just finished week 6. Both 5 & 6 have a long run for run 3 and I was dreading them, but they were okay. After the 20 minute run my legs felt like jelly, but it was a great feeling to get it under my belt. the 25 minute one at the end of week six didn't feel quite so bad, so I'm guessing the program really does work.
Good luck.0 -
Hi Flissh. I'm more worried because I'm only running once per week so not sure if I'm getting fit on schedule but next week will be telling :-)Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

Woohoo, week 2 run 2 completed. :j Thought I was going to die after the first 90 seconds run as I'd run yesterday and my legs were tired but I managed to keep going.
Well done to all who are running or just starting out.
Coco - I've signed up for Race for Life too. Someone at work is also trying to convince me the corporate half marathon is a good idea too. Baby steps for me. Lets see if I can run for five mins before I look much further. How long til pay day?

Hello coco and jmf
jmf I have seen the nhs c25k, I think it is exactly the same program, just different music and voice.
Did the first run of wk 7 yesterday. I thought it was back to intervals, but just one 25 min run. did okay, so this does work:j
When I started I struggled through week one, can't believe I have come this far.
:T:T:T keep it up everyone0
