I just relised I got you, juno, mixed up with fedupandskint. I find it really hard to even go for a walk in the evenings, i'm definatley not a night owl, although i dont think i'm a morning person either, before 7 is the middle of the night to me.

Your post did make sense. I have to drive to the lake to do the run but it's lovely because there very rarely anyone else there, apart from the occasional husband sleeping in the car:D

Sounds like a great place to keep them;)

I went to the local Cancer Research shop today and told them what I'm doing, and they donated some fairy wings to go with my tutu!

  • Nice one juno - bet you look delightful on your run!

Just recovering from week 4 on G28K. Decided to miss out a couple of the weeks as it was the weekend to see if I could manage a longer run. Was definately a challenge however managed to run really quick on the last interval which was a nice surprise.

Another planned for tomorrow to make 4 runs this week in total

  • hi there fedupandskint I also did week 4 this morning. I ran nice and slow to "feed" my heart monitor in zone 2. It was still quite easy:). I am surprised I did think all my weeks with no running would have taken me miles backwards. I know I am still nowhere near as fit as I was 8 weeks ago but i am also not as bad as I thought I would be if that makes sense. I really need to try and find another time in the week when I can run. Maybe I could do just half an hour in the week in the evening...we will have to see.
Hows the foot now Juno? have you tried running on it yet?

  • I think the run was more of a challenge as on the new route there was a humungous hill to run up - just thinking now if my legs can stand up to another run today - will see in a bit

Good to read everyone is doing so well. After trying to restart on wk 1 and pulling a muscle I have been going carefully. Have found I can't run at all at the mo but am walking to the podcast, and walking briskly for the run bit.

Hoping to restart in about a week or so.

Have been trying stick massage with a rolling pin!! saw it on the internet. Did make a bit of difference to the calf pain I'm getting when I walk.

    Well done elfin and skintlass.
I should probably confess I can hardly move now. I am not sure if it is from this mornings run or from doing the "shred" with my DD. I did it once on my own but when noone was looking I gave up on the difficult bits. I could not do that with an audience!:o
