before I went on holiday I was using the gateway to 8k podcasts. The music gets better after about week 4??? Either that or I just got used to it. I find I do need the podcast to keep me going and it is the only longer one I have found.:)Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D0

I'm just back from a really long run (nearly 7 miles ) during which I listened to podrunner (not the intervals, you can also get continuous mixes) and I found I liked the first mix and it helped me keep going but hated the second.
I found a lovely scenic route to run; I'm sure I saw a llama.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

well a miracle has happened! Against all odds after the gales and rain last night, it dried up enough for me to get back out there. I did week 1 but found it easy so will skip to week 2 on wed.
Gave the locals a laugh though, went out dressed all in black, then half way through my run my hair bobble snapped so i ended up looking like a witch with greasy hair flyin all over the place and a dog that looked as though she had been dunked in every muddy puddle around. I really enjoyed it though, glad i've started again.LBM 04/10:j

Have you seen the gateway to 8k podcasts? The music may not be your thing, though. It's very much not my thing but the fact it had a definite pace helped when running. He's also got a 10k mix but the pace is faster than for the 8k although the intervals are shorter.
I started this programme yesterday - didn't like the music however tried to stick to the pace, for a change
Extended the run slightly
I'm using the podcasts to keep me and my motivation going at this stage - 10weeks until reach 8k.
