Well done fedupandskint. It is amazing what you can do isn't it? We are in a dead posh hotel for some r&r before we fly home . Used the gym this morning and did week 8 of c25k. (cos week 9 is missing on my new i pod) it was o.k. Though i find running on a treadmill hard because it is so easy to give up! Anyway i did it .not sure how long it will take my body to recover though.off to wake the children up now. Good luck to anyone running today.Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D0

Hi guys,
Haven't run for a while but did 5k this morning. I've been speed walking much more to try and relieve the pain in my right foot and knee.
Well done to those getting out and running lots.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0 -
Hello!
Is there room for a little one?
I have just finished wk1 run1 about an hour ago.
I am using the 'get running' app on my iPod.
I used to run years ago, but unfortunately broke my ankle, had an operation which required 12 weeks bed rest and 2 steel pins, resulting in me giving up running altogether
So, 2 stone later I've decided to start from scratch again and this programme has been recommended to me. I had no idea there was a thread for this on here! Brilliant!
I'll be keeping a close eye on everyone's progress and using it for motivation.

And well done on your brilliant progress, I hope to be back up to that sort of standard in a few months, I really miss running.
Well, I thought I'd be a bit sore this morning, but have no stiffness or twinges at all, which is good.
Can I ask, does anyone do their runs on a treadmill? I'm back at Uni in 4 weeks and will be pressed for time between classes and work but I could use the on campus gym at lunchtimes to follow the programme. I prefer to run outdoors but will need to keep my options open timewise and don't want to fall away from the routine just because I can't fit it in outdoors.
Really looking forward to this challenge!Come ride with me, through the veins of history...

Sorry guys still not getting chance to get out for a run thanks to having been told I was headed back to the boy's place in Essex for a couple of nights....almost a week ago - emergency trips to Lakeside have been required to ensure I had enough clean underwear and toiletries to survive. Am hopefully getting out for a walk with my new landlady next week to check out the local open space for running. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Have run 3 x 5k this week and running again today - 3 days off and 4 runs for this week, does this let me off from the telling off?final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
