I'm aiming for the 10k next between now and Dec :T

I'm back! At long last! I can't believe I haven't run since the 8th June! I ran from my bus stop tonight at 915pm after I had been at my friends for dinner and somehow got the urge to get out and go a proper run.

I had previously got to w7r2 before I pulled some kind of muscle in my leg so i skipped back to w6r1 and I managed it all! Can't believe after nearly 3 months I can still do that, however 25 mins may not come quite so easily!

Shame to see the thread isn't as busy as before, I hope there a still a dedicated few so we can encourage each other!

    Xx

I need to hang my head in shame.

I only did week one a few times then gave up. Been trying to motivate myself to get going again. Finally dragged myself out on Monday to start again...And pulled a calf muscle!!!!!

Hope you feel better soon fedupandskint, didn't run today but I have found a nice area of National Trust woodland about 2 miles from where I live which I reckon I can easily run around for almost unlimited time -I was walking around it lost for nearly an hour today and it's bordered by mainly fenced off fields and houses - kept walking til I reached a fence then wandering along the fence til I found a road and going to see if it was the road the car park was on, lol. But theres another area of managed woodland too which appears to have footpaths laid out half a mile or so closer so will have a wander around there and see what the paths and distances are like.

Week 2 run 3 for me this evening. I'm really enjoying it so far, nice and gentle.
Definitely prefer running in the evenings about 2 hours after I've eaten so I usually head out about 8ish, but with the dark nights drawing in I may have to change that.
Come ride with me, through the veins of history...
