I have a confession. I haven't run this week, my own fault to be honest.
However, tomorrow I plan to be up early and back onto week 3 - then I shall go home and shred before my shower.

I ran today! Thought it was week 3, but it was week 4 - I did the 5 min and 3 min runs. Shred is the 30 day shred (google 30 day shred or jillian micheals) and basically its a circuit training program in 3 stages to help burn off fat and build muscle quicker. It does work.....I'm a 14 and need a belt! Just need to loose the weight now :)
ETA: so week 4 run 1 done, and stage 2 day 1 shred done

Ouch. That was really hard work today. Even the warm up walk felt like a major effort. Felt like I was trying to run through treacle. Not sure if it's the weather - here its that annoying thing where it gets more and more humid through the day until its almost impossible to breathe and then it buckets with rain and the cycle starts again. It's like the rainforest or a hothouse. Even my walk to work yesterday exhausted me. Plus I was getting eaten by bugs. Gah!!!

Ok rant over. The run is done for today. 10 minute runs on Thursday and then a 25 minute run on Saturday.

I've changed my routines and taken to running in the evenings, have more time then and at least I dont feel guilty about sitting on the sofa afterwards.

I started week 5 last night so I'm nearly back to were i was! I did run 1 last night and found it ok (it's week 2 I found very difficult last time).
I've also got brave and started running along the roads, which is much more interesting and i'm able to tell how far i go. Last night i think it was roughly 2 miles! I'll map my run later to get it more accurate.

good luck everyone you're doing great!!

im on top of the world right now - week 5 run 3 nailed. Totally shocked I could do it. Ok I had to slow it right down a couple of times to get through it but i did it.

The running is paying off lost 6lbs this week !
