    Hi guys,
I skipped my run today as I went to a bootcamp session yesterday for an hour. It was a good session but I ache all over today. I mean really ache. This getting fit thing hurts at times.

week3 run 1 did not go well - just about managed it and no more - main problem was the second set of intervals i was running into a strong wind and was a mare.

    Hi all,

For the first time ever I went out to do my run early morning... since I don't have anyone to run with anymore, I'd rather not run in the dark in the eve. Anyway I was totally expecting to be the only person out but I was shocked to see sooo many joggers  at 5am. Usually when I'm out in the evening I don't see any.

But yeah... I managed a whole 8 minutes because it was so ruddy hot. I will try again tomorrow, maybe have an earlier night so that I don't feel as tired.

    Omg completely lost - 5am?? That's dedication!!!

Completed w4 r3 yesterday, but think I might repeat week 4 this week because although I am completing the run, I don't think I'm ready for week 5 yet. Noticed a huge difference in my body this week though. My stomach feels flatter, my bum feels firmer, my thighs less wobbly and I've gone down a dress size. :j:j:j

Struggling to fit them in this week though, but I will do it!! I will!!

    I want to cry.

Going home has wrecked my running, I've had to go back to week 3 as I nearly died doing week 4......please remind me to take jogging stff on holiday with me in future.
My mum will think I'm a nutter (and she's pretty damn right)
Also, in the shower, was trying to shave and I've got scary thigh muscles coming, and a divety/ridge thing in my calf muscles......

Och elfen, don't worry about repeating a week. You're out doing exercise, and more importantly listening to your body and that's all that matters. I'm fairly sure your leg muscles wont get too scary. It's not Serena Williams bad yet is it?? ;)

Still bimbling around in my haphazard fashion, had to go to the bank earlier so decided to run instead of driving, 0.8 mile each way, 7.05 mins for the 'there' leg, and 6.15 for the 'back' leg. Reasonably happy with that but know I could do better, too warm and too many kids on the ginnels to get going properly.

As we are moving in 3 weeks  I am a bit out of my running routine, was quite pleased though as I had a hen weekend to go to and it was in a hotel with a gym so I went and did my 20 minutes on a treadmill :D found it sooo much easier on the treadmill, I even put it on an incline for the second 10 minutes....when we have moved I must join a gym so that I can at least get my running done even if it is too hot/cold/dark etc...

I am on about wk 9 now and have done 25 mins a couple of times but no longer than that....my plan now is to continue with the 20-25 min runs 3 times a week and then when I have moved (as I am moving a long way) sort myself out with a goal......am thinking that as there is a 'park run' nearby on a Saturday morning that I could maybe do that although I currently have no idea of the distance I am covering so it would probably kill me!

    :hello:Morning!
Week 2 run 1 completed half an hour ago. I did my run after I dropped the kids at school.Youngest is only at pre-school twice a week at the moment so those are the two mornings I have free to run. Need an evening when the other half gets home at a reasonable time for me to go for my third.
