They're not too bad yet sleepytiger, there's still a lot of fat to come off. Then, we shall see.....

Ok, I thought I'd downloaded Week 3 (I delete them off the MP3 player to save sapce, it's only a gig) and instead it was Week 4....So I have done Week 4 Run 1 and can nearly do 5 mins (had to stop and catch my breath in each run, but hopefully I'll pick up stamina and speed again lol)

Warning big rant coming up later:mad:

First the good news. I walked out my run last night and was pleasantly surprised to find it was 7.3K.(including the two five minute warm up walks) I thought I might have been over estimating so this was really good news:D

Now the bad news. The nice? man from British gas has just been round to my parents house and condemned the boiler, leaving them with no hot water. As they are both registered disabled, my step-mother has just come out of hospital and needs her wound kept clean and my father is seriously ill, this ranks as a crisis as far as I am concerned. They are taking it quite calmly...I am livid:mad::mad::mad::mad: Could he not see what he was doing?? He very kindly left them two fires which they don't have to give back. It's 27 degrees here again today:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
We have a kettle dear they said. The nice man is sending someone round to give us a quote next Thursday:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Sorry just so cross. Will probably have to spend the rest of the day finding someone to come round and not rip them off and to treat it as an emergency. At the same time without letting them think I am fussing over them.

Finally. (Apologies that not much of this has been about running) Can anyone help me. I set my thread to instant e-mail notification but the computer does not seem to remember this. I have to log in every day otherwise I think noone is posting here.
Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D

Ooh, don't let them go with BG without getting quotes from someone else first. Do a search on this site for BG - everyone on the 'Is this quote fair' board hates them and say they overcharge because they're trusted. Might also being worthwhile having another engineer check the boiler because apparently BG are very quick to condemn boilers that other heating engineers will just repair.

Completed a run for first time in over a week today. I only did 25 mins but it was to teach my body that it wasn't going to get away with not running again so I think thats ok. Well done to all the new runners \o/

Think i need to do that as well, Skintlass. Went out on Tues and had twinges in my knee when i started running, so stopped. Hadn't run for a week before that due to heat.

Not doing well - think I might have to put myself back on C25K, maybe week 6/7 or something to get motivated again.

    Well done, everyone else :T
    Now proud Mumto3 :j
