Well done on your run 69chick.

I managed to go out today but was a bit rusty. I did 15 minutes, walked for 3 and then ran until the end. I will try to go tomorrow as I seem to be regressing... my 28 min run seems like a distant (and impossible) memory now!

    69chick - Well done:j

Wk 6 Run 2 done - sort of! Had to stop for a minute breather during last 10 min run. Legs felt very tight and tired. First time I haven't been able to follow podcast so a bit disappointed but hey ho - I'll do it next time.:)

    Enjoy the weekend.

Morning Cookiemum - well done on your run today :j I am sure you will do it next time, I think if there is and tightness or soreness when running I would stop for a bit, better to do that than risk injury..

Lovely day here today, both my dd's have just left to go on a leavers trip to a farm with their nursery, dh is coming back with a mcd's breakfast and then taking ds fishing...so I have today to myself till 3pm absolute bliss :)

Have a great day all, good luck to anyone running x

Good morning to all, it's a beautiful sunny day here today :)
    I've completed W4R3 this morning yippeeee :j
Think I might have to get up really early to do any running next week as I've got an incredibly busy week at work, and traffic will be horrendous due to Royal Ascot, so hoping I can at least make an attempt at week 5.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend :)

Tee hee. Not sure I will be able to run tomorrow. Yesterday I helped my parents buy a couple of mobilty scooters so they can get about town without going in a car.(Much safer for everyone;)) Today I thought I would make them go out in them as they are terrified of using them So I took them to the river at the start of my circuit and then they said they would like to go a bit further. So we did one of my run circuits, bearing in mind these things travel at 8 miles an hour I am shattered!!!!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

There was one scary moment when they were as far round the circuit as they could be without being on the way home when they managed to crash into each other. This resulted in one of the scooters not working. I tried pushing it and then pulling it, I began to wonder if the breakdown services would cover scooters.:D Anyway all was resolved when I found a lever that had popped up.

Going to lie down in a darkened room. Give me toddlers anyday.:)
Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D

Teachergirl - your tales are great. I've had such a picture in my head with 2 old people in mobility scooters near a river - you are brave!!

Went out this morning. Had worked out a circuit that I thought was nearly 5kms. When I got back and did it on mapmyrun it was only 4.1  Must do the mapmyrun before I leave the house next time!! Not sure i would have made it much further though.

Thinking about joining you on the C28K Teachergirl (intervals are calling!)

    Happy running everyone.
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

Well my run really rocked this morning:j:j:j.

I did not wear my heart monitor so I was free to run as fast as I wanted. I did week 4 run 1.(long story could not get my I-pod started ,was running short of time, could not be bothered to find week 3.) So it should be four 11 minute runs with 1 minute imbetween. I got into a nice pace and it felt really good. I was short of time so I did not go the really long route but just the normal route. Anyway by the time I had finished interval three I was back at the gate to the fens. I could not believe it. I had met my Dh there so I did not do the final run but I felt so good I'm sure I could have. Anyway this week I am going to try and increase the targets on my heart monitor and calibrate my footpod properly .:D

Good luck to anyone running today.

Wow you are going great guns teachergirl well done you...

My run seemed quite tough this morning, struggled a bit and you would think that It would have been easier than the 20 min run the other day, but I guess we all have days where our bodies are happier to move than others :rotfl:

Starget wk 6 today, have the 2 x 10 min runs on Tuesday then it is a planned 25 min run on Thursday  what I am thinking is that I will try but if I can do the 20 mins again I will be happy with that...after my 20 minute run on Friday I felt a bit odd, but then I had done that really quick sprint for a coupl of minutes to get home and call the ambulance for that girl so it may have been that, but I did feel a bit whacked out and achy....

Weather has turned today, started off warm but looks like rain right now boo hoo.....
