well done mumto2 and skintlass, you should both be proud of yourselves.
One of the mums at school this morning asked if i was doing the 10k on sat because she seen me out training, i must've looked sporty, i was quite chuffed.

Back from my wk 5 run 2 - managed it but it was really hardIt seems such a big jump from 2 x 8mins to 20 mins, will give it a go but although so far I have surprised myself I don't think I will be doing so on the next one...:(
The other thing is, I would have thought I would have been getting further by running more but today I didn't get as far as I have before - I am obviously running realllly slooowwwwllly
Mumto2 Good luck tonight, hope its a great atmosphere for you even if the weather isn't great...I too prefer cooler weather though to blazing hot sun....

ive got wk 5 run 2 tonight and cant see how im going to go from two lots of 8 minutes to a 20 minute run. Has anyone done it, is it tough. im dreading it and already thinking i havent got a chance.0 -

I started this program 10 weeks ago and was struggling to run for 1 min x 6. Last night, I ran the 5km race for life. So am living proof that it can be done :T
