So I tried Week 5 run 1...and it was OK :) Run 2 tomorrow!

Go you HBS! I just did Week 5 Run 1 too. :T

I can't see my i-pod without glasses but can't run with my glasses - so I'm always fearful of losing my place and doung thewrong one. A good way into the five minute warm-up walk tonight and I started to think something was wrong, music seemed to be familiar from another week and so I rewound it to find I was only on Week 1. :rotfl:

I then had to walk for ages longer while I blindly played the intro of every other episode and find the right point to start running.

Legs are still slightly in ruins but I'm going to go out tonight and have a go at starting week 7. I was actually quite annoyed that I couldn't go last night, maybe I'm starting to get into this running carry-on.
  • Week 5 run 2 done...oh lordy my bum and calves hurt! Is that normal?

HBS - I had that too, it came and went for a few runs. Right now I have one achy bum cheek, the other one is fine! Mad lopsided body!

Week 7 embarked upon without drama, ruined legs didn't hurt much whilst they were warmed up and moving. It's only if I sit for a while or something then they seize up again.

:rotfl: I thought I was the only one!

Well I used to have them anyway. When I could barely run for a minute I would dream that I could just run and run and run and never get tired or out of breath.

Now I can run far I don't have them :o

Hehehe. That's exactly the same as me. Before I started C25k a couple of years ago, I used to have dreams where I was running for ages and not getting tired, but I always woke up because I knew I couldn't run for even a couple of minutes.

I still dream about running sometimes, but it doesn't wake me up any more.

I'm planning to do week 5 run 3 tomorrow morning, though listening to the rain outside I might have to swim it.

You too HBS, hope all goes well. I'm feeling extra tired and my legs are sore and like lead today, so hoping I am on better form tomorrow. In preparation I have bought myself an armband for my I-pod today
