    Yay both of you!

Week 4 run 2 was easier than the first one, my legs ached less too. Have decided that maybe I am growing stronger leg muscles at the moment.
  • I am doing Week 4 run 1 this afternoon...I am little aprehensive about it...

So was I, but the podcast doesn't lie, you really CAN do it.
  • I nearly did it...

I managed half of the final run.

But I have run for longer than before, so not looking at it as a failure.

I will keep going, I know I can do this!!
  • Well another week has gone by and I stil haven't got my act together. So tomorrow I am starting back to basics from week two. Besides loss of willpower and stamina, I think I have mostly lost my confidence and need to build back up to where I was before.

If I find it reasonably comfortable then I might try and power through to week three and four with just a couple of attempts at each week rather than three of each.

  • Keep going Kiwisaver! :j

Wow! What a difference a couple of days make! 28 min jog - easier than the 25 mins  but it was, really comfortable with it and even the husband commented that I was so much more comfortable doing this run than the last two.

Think I had a better attitude towards it today as well ;) it helped that I'd lost 5 lb this week - has been a damn good day all round!

Kiwisaver - go on, you can do it! Even if you just hang it all and start from the start again, at least you're back into it.

Chickvic - well done, I'm so impressed. Do you find you get bored just running along for 28 minutes? I think I'll be better with that once I have done the plan and then can listen to my own music, I'm not so keen on some of what they play in the podcast.

Week 4 done. I was apprehensive tonight before going out too, but then once I'm out it was never as bad as I thought I remembered it!

    Hi CupOfChai,

Well done on doing week 4 :)

I downloaded a different version (this one) on my phone, which doesn't have the music on so I play my own anyway, I didn't like the nhs one either. I only run on a treadmill but the music does keep you going!
  • I just did Week 2 Run 1 :T

I was expecting it to be quite easy but It felt just as difficult as the first time I did week two. :embarasse The itchy leg problem was as bad as ever too. It seems that the fitness I had achieved only a few weeks back, went away as quickly as it came.

  • I am going on my Week 4 run 1 mk II today.

I did not complete this run on Thursday, so in my mind I still have 3 runs to complete.

Not worried about the first half of the run, I managed that ok, it is the 2nd half that got me!
