Well done kjmtidea! You're where I want to be, my aim is that once I can do the 5K I will start trying to do it faster.

That's part of my plan too, I am slowly getting faster. I am running my first 5k race on the 5th October and put my predicted time as 30 minutes so I am on track.
Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j
  • I've just started the NHS plan, so far have completed week 2 run 2, run 3 tomorrow.
Finding it hard at the moment (although have completed all the runs with no giving up), as I am unfit.
I used to go to the gym and run on the treadmill, so I keep reminding myself that I found that hard at first, then after a few months I could run and run and run for ages.
Road (path) running is a lot harder I think.
But I will keep going, will get fit, tone up and lose weight.
I didn't want to wait until I have a health scare before I had my LBM and start exercising.

    Well done all.

We do ours on a treadmill, we find it easier because you can keep a constant speed. (Also we didn't want to scare people outside with our fat bit joggling around :rotfl:)

Just finished Wk5 day 2 and found it quite comfortable, even speed up the last 2 mins of the last run :j.

Am acutally quite looking forward to the challange of Wk5 day 3 (20 min run ) which SWMBO (;)) is doing as I type this. :D
  • I did it :j:j:j week 5 run 3 - 20 mins non stop jogging! I amazed myself :o:D
