Car! To be honest if I had to drive to somewhere before I could run I don't think I would have kept it up, well done for that. Thats what I like about this, just step outside the door and goI am lucky to live 5mins walk away from a park, I have done a lot of exploring around it and found lots of quiet areas where no one will see me

I start out from home, run to a local nature reserve and run around the flat ground, then when I'm done got oh to drive me home :rotfl:
I don't since week 7 but did before thatLife is short, smile while you still have teeth0 -
My OH drives me a certain distance away from home and then I run home, I feel more motivated that way as with each step I'm closer to homeThrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -

Ah I see, that was good planI have to work out when to turn around and start running back home. I live about half hour drive from the sea and when I can run properly I would like to run along the beach sometime.

We are working out a route that takes me home from home for 6-7kish.
I just feel like running away from home makes it feel better atm, I feel I am getting further so to speak. Then oh can pick me up :cool:Life is short, smile while you still have teeth0 -
I went running this morning but my ankle was really sore again
Managed 2 miles but didn't feel great. Will see how it feels on Sunday morning as that's when I'm going for Week 7 Run1. Going to London on Saturday so hopefully walking about won't do it too much harm.

Find the mapping out progressively longer, but circular, routes (use mapmyrun.com etc to see how far they'll be) is the best way when building distance...It's good to have the option of getting back relatively quickly if you feel a twinge in your leg etc...nothing worse than having something feel strange at the turning point and having to walk half the distance back on an injury...
Of course, you need the mental strength to not always take the shorter route back, anyway0 -
:mad:not happy - no babysitter so couldn't go for wk4 run 1
no babysitter for weekend either so the soonest I can go will be Monday. I am going to do some kind of exercise on the wii later when ds asleep so at least I will have done something. Seriously thinking where I could squeeze a treadmill in our very tiny house.0
