Good job everyone! :T

Been out running this morning and felt fine until I went to stretch afterwards. Don't know if I've landed on my ankle funny but I've now got a lot of pain when I move it. Going to have to rest it for a couple of days and hope it's ok for my next run on Tuesday.
On the plus side, I knocked more time off my 1.5mile time. Down from 15:13 to 14:31. My 1mile time has gone from 10:10 to 9:12 too
Hope everyone's enjoying their weekend! :hello:0 -
I hope it eases off 1940s gal x
I'M starting to get itchy feet so to speak, I ran on Friday and we had planned to run again on Monday. Yet all morning I felt like I actually wanted to go out and run. I did the first 30 minute run.
Problem is that dd couldn't go today so I'll have to do it again tomorrow. I've never ran two days running before. It will be a challenge!Life is short, smile while you still have teeth0 -
Week 1 run 2 today, found it a bit harder but I think it's because my trainers aren't very good (only cheap). Going to invest in some with a bit more spring, and save these for rowing machine etc at the gym.
I don't think I'll be ready to move on to week 2 by Wednesday (my next run) so I'm going to do week 1 once more on Friday then start week 2 on Sunday.
Good luck everyone xxMy debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

haha glad I'm not the only one who's got itchy feet! I was talking to a guy at work who runs regularly and he said the same, after a bit it gets addictive and then when you start running for longer and seeing the results, it just spurs you on and you want to do it over and over again. I do at least
Ankle's a lot better today, thanks. Must have just stretched it funny but I've been on my feet all day at work and not felt a thing so I'll go out running tomorrow afternoon after work now.0 -
I've been getting itchy feet as well and I've been doing it less than a week! Today I have been swimming before work (just 10 minutes to wake me up, plus meant I had my shower at the gym rather than at home - how MSE!) then to Pure Stretch at lunchtime. Yoga tomorrow but really looking forward to my run on Wednesday! My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Just popping in to say well done to everyone who has got out this week. I have not been running since last wednesday  I will try to get out tomorrow but if not it will be on wednesday. I can't believe it has been nearly a week since my last run, where does time go? I bet my legs will notice, good job I am only on week 2 otherwise I would re-do a week. Its going to take a lot of motivation to get moving again but thanks to this thread and you guys :A I will get there0
