Hi Im new to the site I really have had enough of simply 3 g my cash back claim was verified in august. I havent heard from them since October. How much does it cost to take them to Court???Its so unfair that we have to suffer when they are probably laughing all the way to the bank. I have approached watch dog about 5 times perhaps we should all submit details over the next week so they get inundated with requests - i would love to see someone from simply 3g being questioned about what they are going to do. How can they get away with it???If we missed payments we'd be charged and it would effect our credit rating can we report them to experian?? (maybe im over ranting) thanks i feel much better0

crossem - all the answers you need about Court proceedings are
http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/onlineservices/mcol/index.htm
Meanwhile you need to continue paying your monthly phone bills and contact your phone company to see if they will will reduce it (Vodaphone will but it takes a while).
If you are going to go to Court be sure you send a Letter Before Action to Simply3g first by Special Delivery.0 -
Does anyone know who the company directors are at Simpy3g? (before I stump up the fee to Companies House)0

Hi all I have received yet again a similar reply from Trading Standards. Anyone had any joy or results with court, I have now recieved information that Simply3g have lodged a 'defence' and therefore my claim cannot continue online, Can't wait to see what that defence is. How is it trading standards can allow this to continue. I am told that if you pay £3 with companies house to obtain the latest company reports that the name and different address are on there for the director and secretary. Can anyone advise what happens now they have lodged this so called 'defence'0

Hi Weby. I am currently awaiting the next move from Simply3G - they acknowledged service on 10th Jan - so I have still got another week or so to wait to find out what was going on. Did they submit the defence straight away or did they file an acknowledgement first to stall things even longer.
I cannot believe how toothless Trading Standards are.£2008 for 2008 club member 3360 -
Hi Sarah, I only set the claim up last week they had another week of their 14 days, they have submitted the defence straight away, how on earth can they have a defence, I've got e-mails confirming my cashback should have been paid!!!!!!.
It's all very well Trading Standards and others going on about sending this company bankrupcy, anyway according to MCOL I should be receiving the 'defence' paperwork soon and details of which court will be dealing with it, I have all the necessary paperwork so i'll see them in court, I aint stopping now.0 -

Good luck - please keep us updated as to how you get on. I am waiting for them to do something - I cant figure out why they would acknowledge my claim and then do nothing. But then again they dont seem to be acting particularly rationally at the moment. Oh well the fight goes on ......£2008 for 2008 club member 3360 -
Yes here we have another in the same position as many in this Forum. Cash back claims not arriving and then you complain, and lo and behold a cheque arrives - well up until December 2007 - now nothing. They owe me £260 in total. All claims have been sent correctly and they confirmed the arrival of said claims. It will be interesting to see what happens with the claims that are being processed through the courts.Hope someone publishes the name and address of the directors - I don't think they would like that. One thing is for sure - they are still selling phones and making money whilst we are expected to do nothing and other agencies seem powerless to act - or do not seem to want to - rip off Britain again.0

Hi everyone,
First post but have been at this for some time.. I'm owed a fair bit by Simply3G and started my small claims proceedings against them before Christmas and again I got the response back that they were mounting a defence against my claim(s).
When they didn't and I asked for a warrant to be executed I received a response from the bailiffs that there was no one there and they had no where else they could try to obtain monies (this was the end of last week). Yet I see some of you have had signed for mail and county court claims signed by them since then! So what's going on?
Seems to me I wasted my money trying to get anything back as the bailiffs have just give up!.. Anyone have any idea what else I can now do?

Hi, are you sure it is a defence they have filed and not just acknowledged the summons saying that they are going to defend the case? This seems to be the norm with them and then no defence sent in.0
