Just checked it and its up and running fine - they must have been updating it£2008 for 2008 club member 3360 -
The website appears to be up and running however...
if you click on Help Desk on the menu on the left hand side it is now a dead link.
This link used to take users to a varierty of help options including - importantly for us - how and where to send cashback claims.
All this should have been printed out anyway at the time people took out their deals but it is pertinent that suddenly all this information has been removed.
Up until this point - they were using the new Abderdeen address (currently an empty premises according to Royal Mail) as their listed business address and the Bagshot address for cashback claims - the Bagshot address being listed within the Help Desk.
Also - under the About Simply 3g - the email link is now dead.0 -
Found the following information which may help contact S3G. The fax number still appears to be working, but for how long?
Email: info@simply3g.co.uk / esales@simply3g.co.uk
Telephone: 0800 6300623 / 08700 667 155
Fax: 08700 667 156
The website is still allowing online ordering but with no contact method except postal address
Two claims worth £180 for me and £225 for my OH0 -
Any body wishing to claim back money Simply 3g should read this first:
I have issued against them through mcol and they acknowledged the claim saying that they were going to defend the case. As I expected, no defence was entered. I assumed they would do this as a stalling exercise. I then got judgement by default. Next step is a warrant, so prior to this I contacted the court that would be dealing with the warrant and spoke to the bailiff. She confirmed that they had already tried to get some money for other warrants but Simply Communications had ceased trading. It seems like time for us all to put this behind us and get on with our lives.0 -
Thanks SteveC. It may still be worth pushing for bailiffs if only to get someone physically round to the address to see once and for all what is going on?
I have made some further enquiries myself today -
Firstly the company have not notified anyone that they have ceased trading. This information comes from various sources who I spoke to TODAY including the English Trading Standards who will contact the people that cover the Bagshot area and try and get me an update as they are not answering my emails, also the Official Receivers office based in Croydon which covers the Bagshot area, Companies House, the Insolvency Service for England and Wales AND thier equivilent for Scotland.
I have also spoken to Trading Standards for Aberdeen - they said all they had on their file was that the Aberdeen office closed at the beginning of December and that all contact should be via the Bagshot address.
I have also spoken to Guildford County Court who referred me to the Official Receiver as they could not find anything either - but I'm not 100% sure it was the right Court.
The company still list their address as in Aberdeen however. 2 further sites to check and monitor in Scotland are
www.aib.gov.uk/roi and do a search.
www.gazette-online.co.uk then select Edinburgh
According to the Insolvency Service for Scotland if the company do go under it will be on one of the above.
I have not yet checked them as I have run out of time now.0 -

I am sooo tempted to drive to Bagshot and have a look to see if they are still trading. Surely if their website is up and running and they are still selling things they must be trading?£2008 for 2008 club member 3360 -
sarah - word of warning before you go.....
as I understand it s3g had a retail premesis in bagshot. However, if they've gone to solely web-based trading, they may have no need of a premesis as such, as all orders could be supplied direct from someone like dextra or the like. So, even if there is no premesis (either bagshot or aberdeen), the company may still be able to trade. They would still need a registered address however, but that could end up being the owner's/director's/etc. home address. So, if you go and everywhere's locked up with the lights off, it may not yet mean the company's folded...........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
Just found the site, just submitted my court claim yesterday issued today, can't beleive this company are getting away with what they are doing. Courts cant get us any money back but they are still trading on the website, they have refused to respond to all my letters and I still believe they are fobbing everyone off. In my opinion they have decieved us into these contracts and continue to deceive us all. I0
