    iPhone already slaughters Android..
As it has always done, the lack of a memory card slot is a deal breaker for me. I'll stick with Android until they fix that.

Well, I haven't tested but with sapphire crystal you could slam it on the ground and it wouldn't even scratch... :) So I'd be pretty confident in having one without a case...

From the above spec the screen is better, processor is better (as pointed out earlier mhz isn't all, and the fact that the os and hardware is made for each other performance is boosted.. stats yet to be released though..), Speed is better than most there (apart from 4G wimax devices but unavailable in UK anyway), camera will be better even with lower MP thanks to their attention to detail, video is better, front camera better than 2 of them, microphone better than 2 of them, wi-fi supports n so that's better than them all..... and it's cheaper/same price as the rest of them... same weight too, and better battery life....

This is why Apple already out sell everyone apart from RIM :)
Actually, it isn't. Until the 4, Android products beat the iPhone on most of these aspects (and arguably still do on many). Apple may have caught up with HTC in many ways but the phone isn't on sale yet so cannot be the reason for Apple sales. And the rate at which HTC release models, how much longer will it be before Apple need to catch up again?

That's your reason to stick with an Android device? I hope you have 3 or 4 more reasons as the iphones internal memory is more than enough :)

Well, it will be a year won't it...

If you're buying a phone on June 24th you have to buy the best of the bunch, which is now hands down the iPhone and arguably was the iphone before! :)

Now its just a no brainer.

I have many reasons why I chose an Android phone over Apple this time around (open system, flexibility, much better screen resolution at the time of purchase, field swappable battery, memory card slot, better camera, full USB and bluetooth implementation, faster processor, etc). But a memory card slot was an important one. 32GB is enough for what? Everyone? I think on every occasion in history when anyone has said x k/M/GB is enough, they have ended up looking foolish very quickly.

BTW, AFAIAA, saphhire crystal is much harder than other glasses and is much more scratch resistant, but it is also more brittle and chip and cracks more easily too. But maybe this Apple material is different somehow?

This should be good for a laugh... so I'll bite.

Let's here in intricate detail about how it does that please?

Are you telling me that in this day and age 32gb is not enough memory?!

An mp4 is a couple of hundred megs..... There is simply no way you would use up 32GB easily hahaha. And though in a year that may be different, a new device will be out then.

If you're calling me foolish for saying that, you're also calling Apple foolish.. Apple are now bigger than Microsoft so actually that's a "foolish" thing to say :)

I'm not sure on the technicalities of the glass but its 30 or 40 times harder than plastic according to Apple and they made it interanlly.. I'm sure Gizmodo will do some destruction tests as always haha. Who knows, maybe it will break the blender..

    In sales... And it does.

Apple sells over 3 times the amount of Android devices.... It's a fact. :)

    *bites back* ;)

I bought my phone in April. HTC was a no brainer decision then and still would be now (for me). If Apple cam out with a less closed product (physically and OS) which met my needs, I'd buy it in a moment when the time comes to replace. But certainly not this product (although the screen does sound nice).
