I have never had an iphone, and I want to buy the 4. But I agree I couldnt see any difference in the screens!
If I were you I would get an iPhone 4 but it doesn't seem such a leap from a 3GS especially when you've upgraded it to iOS 4.0 as I have.A problem shared is a problem multiplied.0 -
Just to help other people trying to get an iPhone 4 through Tesco - I've just been on the phone to their number on their website and been told they're not getting anymore in until mid-July. They said to try the stores between now and then, but they have no idea about stock for stores.
All in all very unimpressed with Tesco so far, so wouldn't surprise me if other people have heard differently - If you have been told differently (Re: New stock for example) could you post here to let me (and others) know?0 -
Its gonna be fixed with a software update without question!
How can a software fix sort out a hardware issue of where the ariel is?
Obviously all phones suffer from this but you dont see it as the ariel is at the top.
I ordered on the internet but I have opened the boxed and made a few calls. Does the fact that I have "used" it make any difference? Bit confused now about the credit/service contract. I dont want them to say well choose another phone. I paid the premium of a £45 pm 18m contract.
Thnaks for your help so far.0 -

You are allowed to use it for 7 working days. Your phone company will just charge you a pro rata rate for usage.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -

Without question? In that case its odd that Apple haven't released a statement confirming this..... but have instead acknowledged there is a fault and just said its one of those things and that other phones do it, only other phones dont have the antenna in the same place so its much more of a problem on the iPhone 4.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -

Well I live in a town where a new Tesco is being built and just found out it is due to open next monday the 5th, and it has a phone shop!
Guess I'll be one of the first customers through the door then hoping that they have a stock of the iphone4's?0 -
Just to make it clear, if the phone was bought from Apple online OR instore you have 14 days to take it back.Hardcore moneysaver0

It's possible that it is not a hardware related fault as the iPhone 3GS, which does not have the same aerial/antenna is reported to be suffering the same issue since the iOS4 software update. The iPhone 4 also runs iOS4.
I'm not saying what the error is, just that it is possible that it's software related.0
