Dont be!!!
My god this has been blown out of proportion so much!
Its not an issue! As long as you don't grip ur iphone like a golf club you'll be fine!
Its only if you wrap your hand around it and put pressure on.. I didnt even notice a problem until it was on the news[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

There you go fixed that for you
No sellotape used.;)0 -
You're mis understanding.. holding and gripping with much force is differently.. Equally when putting the phone to your ear its rare to grip the bottom part of the phone, more like the middle. when holding it to use apps, as long as u dont wrap ur fingers round and grip like a golf club hard, it's fine.
NORMAL casual use is fine..!!![FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

I think this is common, i tried on my Nokia 6700 phone holding around antenna side and my signals dropped only 1 bar left,Then i tried on HTC HD2 same thing singnal got down to 1 bar almost but i was still in a call..
Both tested on 2g , will give a try on 3g as well later on this evening,..0 -

I always grip my phone as shown in the vid. This is a blatantly obvious hardware design flaw.
It's a shame as my contract was up and I was considering getting one.0 -
What you cant tell in the vid is he was prob pressing the iphone very hard into his palm...... Take it from an owner.. this problem does not actually effect the use of the device apart from in minor situations![FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

This isn't correct, all it takes is a fingertip to cover the gap and hey presto! no signal.
Yes, it can be avoided, but a £600 phone shouldn't have this issue, certainly not after 2 years of development.0 -

Yeah look at the imprint it left on his hand when he put the phone down, i'm surprised it didn't shatter into a million pieces, i guess the fact it didn't is down to gorilla glass?........
I think some people are refusing to admit there's a problem as they think it makes them look a bit daft due to the fact they having been championing the release of this phone for weeks.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0
