Can you manage with only 75 minutes?

How has your current contract cost that much if you are only using so few minutes?

I've used a fair bit of web which I've had to add on. Minutes are the least important thing for me. Don't call that ofter on my mobile and if I do its maybe only for 5 minutes tops at a time.

The 1gb of web and unlimited texts would really be useful for me as they are what I use the most.

Looking like the Vodaphone £35 x 18 mth for me:

    Unlimited texts (orange 500)
1gb data (250mb more than orange, 500mb more than o2)
    Phone £169 (£229 on orange, £179 on o2)

Unless 3 or Tesco can beat it looks like it's bye bye Orange and hello Vodofone for me!

If you're definitely wanting an 18 month deal then you can probably forget about 3.

On Vodafone, it says 1GB Unlimited Data.. then 1GB of Wi-Fi with BT Open Zone.. I would have thought with any Wi-Fi it would have been unlimited - isn't that what O2 are doing?

Free wi-fi is for pay in public networks, such as BT Open Zone. As part of the contract you can access their network and use upto 1gb a month without any additional charge.
There is no restriction to open wi-fi networks or closed ones that you can sign onto such as at home or in the workplace.

Im so stuck on what to do.

I'm currently on 02 paying £30/month for 1200 minutes, 600 texts and 1 bolt on (landline numbers).

Desperately want the iPhone 4 but don't know which route to go down - my contract with O2 was due for renewal 3 months ago but I've waited it out due to the iPhone4.

I use MAX 700 mins a month and probably max 600 texts a month. Just got averages from O2 - I would more likely use the internet (Facebook, etc.) when using iPhone though so Data would probably be more important.

Anyone advise on what the best route for me would be pricing wise cos I'm a bit of a dope on this!!

    Cheers!

Depends if you can afford the out cost of the phone?
Also do you really need all them minutes, if you can go with 600 minutes, the texts are unlimited and the data...well 500mb is quite a lot-I use my FB, emails and general browsing all the time and only average about 70mb a month.

If you can't afford the overall cost of the phone, I would go for the free phone on 24 months @ £35 through o2.

Not definite, would consider 24 months but this is looking the best for me so far as i can afford the initial outlay for the phone on this.

I've just come to exactrly the same conclusion on same tariff, except I will be moving from O2... I've always been happy with network coverage on O2 - is Vodaphone up to similar standards??
