    Orange have released their prices.

The cheapest tariff you can have a free iPhone 4 on is £75 a month. What a joke! Especially considering it's only £480 on pay as you go. So if you buy a payg one and a sim only for £15 a month, this will only cost £35 a month for a free iPhone 4.

Just got the email myself, Yes £75 an no deal for current Orange iPhone users who would want to buy out there contract, I don't recall the 3GS being this expensive??

As I posted a while back, there is a cheap little device out that trims existing sims to micro sims.

That does make sense although I don't know how the saving on plastic around the sim compares to the adapter required for standard sim phones.
The adaptor is a tiny piece of plastic, millions will be produced for peanuts.

djrobmac.. if you already have a microsim.. perhaps you can enlighten us on how you got it?

You said "Is it me or does every line on those instructions start:
"Purchase your new iPhone 4 from O2" I was pointing out it is just you cause every line does not start "Purchase your new iPhone 4 from O2"

O2 have always said they will send out micro sims to those that register an interest on the iPhone 4 page so having to buy an iPhone 4 from them is just more fiction.

Agree. Those who had the original Motorola flip which used the credit sized SIM when GSM first came out, come upgrade time the mobile shops had such a cutter under the counter so you could use a freshly cut mini SIM in your upgrade phone.

On Orange the 3GS seems to have stayed the same price but reduced by 8GB and the 4 has gone into a league of its own at £75 per month

I've had enough of your childrens mentality and playground arguments. I see you are also going back and editing your previous posts as well! You're good :\

Time will tell.. so far nobody knows how to get a microsim for an existing contract. The only options are new contracts or new PAYG sims with new numbers.

Whilst debatable how reliable.. the only info we have from Orange is that they wont provide new microsims for existing contracts. The same view point they took with 3G sims many years ago.

Good day sir.. now please go and troll with someone else..

Unless you are desperate to get the iPhone on launch day, I would suggest you hold out for network pricing and order online where you can get cashback (up to £70 at the moment - although this may change by launch day). You may still be able to get the phone on launch day anyway.

You may also be able to speak to 3 and see if they will give you any retention deals (once they announce pricing).

Hey where is the £70 cash back from?:money:

I'd like to know this too!

Not fussed about buying iPhone 4 on launch date but will definitely buy it in the next few phones. Looking at the features, it'll be a giant upgrade from my aging iPhone 3G!
