Does anyone know what rights you have to return an iphone? I have been waiting 3 months for this and was lucky enough to get one from Vodaphone. If you can call it luck. I hold the phone in my left hand and type the number in with my right as I am right handed. By the time I have entered the number my 4 bars have dropped to 1. If I am in a 2/3 bar zone it goes completely. I tried to do it the other way round but its like writing left handed. I also sometimes swap from one ear to the other when arm becomes tired on a long biz call. Guess what? it cuts out. I have never been so dissapointed with a purchase and am astounded that Jobs says "hold it differently" WHY SHOULD I??? I previously was a big apple fan, the stupid new shuffle that sound like steven hawkins excluded. I have an Imac, an Ipod and a 2nd gen shuffle. My kids have shuffles and another ipod. I really wanted this to be great. Sorry for that rant but I am just so disappointed and back to the original question, before I phone up Voda can anyone tell me what a can or cant do? Is this phone not "fit for purpose"
Did you sign a contract, if so you have a 14 day cooling of period.
If you are unhappy, reject it ASAP.0 -
If you still believe its a problem with the metal band around the phone then I suggest you watch this

It was an off the cuff response and been blown out of the water by everyone. Its gonna be fixed with a software update without question! Have you not seen all the 3GS/3G videos showing the same thing after upgrading to iOS4? Are you telling me they have suddenly developed hardware faults too rofl
Watched the first video and I can replicate it on my 3G, with a completely unnatural grip. I can do that on my 4 with a fingertip.0 -

Only if it was bought from online/telephone, Stores dont need to give a cooling off period.
Contracts always have a cooling off period.
Youre thinking of the DSR.
EDIT: After research you can cancel within 7 days. http://www.moneyextra.com/dictionary/cooling-off-period-004050.php0 -

As you have already been told, you have no (legal) cooling off period for a phone contract purchased in a store.
Your link is about CREDIT agreements, not service agreements.
It comes up every single day on this forum, we are not wrong

Uhm, a mobile phone contract IS a credit agreement.0 -
So when you sign a CCA it isn't a credit line?
That will suprise most banks.
What has that got to do woth a mobile phone service contract? Stop diverting and moving the goalposts.
I'm not too bothered if you believe me or not.
You gave incorrect information and I politely corrected it. It comes up every single day on here. Do a search. Take it or leave it.0
