Don't mess about too much with useless companies.

Send them an email/letter telling them what is wrong and what you want them to do about it.

If no suitable response/action, send them a Final Notice Before Action letter [basically telling them that you're going to court if they don't sort it].

If no suitable response/action, file claim in court online [£25 which you get back when you win]; extremely easy to do and the small claims sytem is so easy to use.

Wait for your money to arrive [they usually cave in and pay up].

  • Hi everyone

I bought the 5-in-1 steam mop from KBG 12th May. After 2 months I e-mailed KGB and My Kool Kitchen through their web pages as they do not offer e-mail addresses. My Kool Kitchen replied 2 weeks later advising they will dispatch 20th July. KGB replied the day after saying the same thing. On 3rd August I e-mailed both again saying it still hadn't arrived and can I have a refund. I opened a case with paypal and they gave me the postage costs back. I received no repsone from either so today I googled the names of people who were business and sales managers who worked for KGB delas and e-mailed them directy. One lovely chap advised me to call 0800 011 8011 they transferred me to customer services who have given me a full refund.

Try calling the above number, they're really nice once you get hold of them on the phone. Much better than completing their online form and not receiving a reply for 2 weeks.

    Hope this helps.
  • I have bought a number of items in the past through KGB with no problems until recently. My daughter bought a food processor which never arrived, her automated responses took a week to arrive so eventually she tried to raise a dispute with PayPay, but as this had taken over 45 days ( 21 working days for delivery allowed!) she was unable to place the dispute and has lost her money. I bought a sat nav in june, again it was supposed to be 21 days for delivery which never arrived. My emails have not been answered but I only paid for delivery with PayPal and the main price on Debit card. I am concerned that it will be refused as I purchased a voucher that I received and redeemed, so KGB did their bit, but as I did not actually pay Dee-Sign (although they accepted the order) I am uncertain as to whether I will actually get a refund from anyone. This idea of 21 working days for delivery and also x number of days to redeem your voucher makes it a very long process, It was 10 days after I'd paid before I could redeem. I have since found the same sat nav available elsewhere (and cheaper!) but don't know if I should order it as I don't need two of them. If I ever receive the first, of course! I find it very difficuly to believe that my daughter was the only one who did not receive the food processor and I the only one not to receive this sat nav. Surely KGB are aware of these issues and yet have done nothing about them. I would no longer recommend KGB Deals especially if you are to be expected to wait 21 working days for delivery and pay a delivery charge which would cover next day special delivery!

The person who posted immediately before you, posted a phone number she used to ring and got a full refund.

Why don't you give them a call?

  • I wish i had of seen this thread before i purchased a deal from KGB. I paid £89 for 6 sessions of laser hair removal which you have once every 4 weeks. I had alot of problems getting intouch with the company to make an appointment. I email KGB and was told the company had moved property so i should go pay them a visit. After weeks then months i received no help from KGB what so ever. I have just found out the merchant has closed her business which KGB knew but didnt tell me and now the expiry date on my voucher has passed so i no longer qualify for a refund. In the bottom of the email i received it had this quote 'Here at kgbdeals it is our goal to provide you with the excellent customer service you deserve'<
the are a joke and now im £89 down without any treatments. My friend bought the same deal on the same day through Groupon for £99 and she has been given a refund even though the voucher had expired now that is customer service. Fed up with the automated crap email they send i will never use them again!!

  • I ordered 2 bracelet deals from this site and 7 weeks later I am STILL waiting for them, I have been e-mailing constantly, only to be told to wait 3 days, 5-6 days and even a week, I have called and eventually spoke to Carl who couldn't do anything but E-MAIL!! They tend to do that extremely well, no one seems to talk to anyone, I have also been dealing with Clearly Contempory who the deal was with and have been told that these bracelets have now been sent put on 4 seperate occasion....I'm still waiting on them!!! I am now going to go to CAB to get further advice as I don't want my money back I want my 2 bracelets, just how hard is it to send out 2 small bracelets in the post!!!!!!
Their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with.....
