Mine worked fine. Maybe you typed it in wrong, or tried to use it for a film after the 5th of June?:(

    MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Did you get two emails from them on 5th May? They initially sent out wrong codes but then issued a correction a few hours later.

I've just used my code without any problem whatsoever.

However, I came across problems with similar codes issued through a Cineworld promotion sometime ago. The problem I encountered was that I was getting my zero and noughts mixed up. So from then on whenever I have any of these codes, I copy and paste them rather than typing them.

May I suggest you do this if you haven't already done so.:)

Sorry for mistake I hope it hasn't confused matters. I actually meant that I know people get noughts and the letter 'O' mixed up. Try copying and pasting the code and I think you will find it works. As I mentioned I found this error to be common when we were using the Cineworld codes.

Not sure if you could class them as a scam without at least inquiring the code issue with them, it could just as well be a typo (by you or them) which a quick phonecall could easily resolve the issue.

  • Spent $75 for $150 value in a restaurant certificate. The restaurant (Les Sans in NYC) refused to honor any details of the certificate saying despite having contracted KGBdeals the information was incorrect and it was my problem!! Les Sans credited me a mere $12.50 So I paid $37.50 for an entree that was only $25 on the menu and not only didn't the restaurant or kgbdeals not honor the commitment/terms of the certificate....I was forced to pay $200 for a dinner that was only $150.
I contacted KGBdeals with no response as of yet. Will dispute all charges. Buyer beware... I could never recommend that restaurant or KGBdeals. The management short sighted. They got in bed with KGBdeals and didn't like the results. They are equally as guilty. The food was overpriced and mediocre at best so I was a victim on all accounts.

Lots on the internet regarding scams and KGBdeals I wish I had known. It ruined a family night out celebrating husbands birthday.

ps no way to contact KGBdeals directly just a canned submit form

I've used several KGB Deals in the UK without any problems whatsoever.
  • KGB Deals are advertising free samples which don't exist and are using a site (track750.com) which belongs to a company/person who also owns several acai pill scam pushing fake news sites (consumerproductsdigest.com; consumerwarningsweekly.com; special-diet-report.com) to track the ad clicks. They are also using a fake display url in the ad (wagjag.com) when the ad takes you to kgbdeals.co.uk
