HELLO EVERYONE!! I hope you are all having a good day, despite the weather!

Well I have succumbed and at lunchtime I went to a number of stationers and chose my very own Pukka Pad! So I can now join the Pukka Pad club! It's a very good idea with the dividers in it isn't it?!?! I actually bought an A4 academic year one as it had a big fold out year planner and month by month at a glance, so I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Didn't manage any ironing last night, so will try again tonight! And it looks like the bad weather is here to stay, so clothes are going to have to be dried on the clothes horse yet again - so much for a long hot summer!

Am currently munching my way through my weetabix cake, which I don't think will last til the weekend! Last night I microwaved a slice for 10 seconds and that was so scrummy! Am putting in a internet shop at sainsbury's tonight, so will put chocolate chips on the list again so another cake can be made this weekend!

HUGS to everyone who needs them today, esp. ageandjo! I hope you cheer up soon, although I'm sure this weather doesn't help - where's the sun gone?!

We are back from our away day, this mornings trip was not sucessful, the place was closed, this afternoons was more so, found what we were looking for but the price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so back to think things over yet again!!!!!!

Looking for a recipe for muslie bars. I went to Aldi on the way home, bought a herb pot, chrissy present for a friend........coffee, butter, mulie bars socks and a bucket of chicken s--t for the allotment. We eat quite a few of these bars and at 80p for 6 it occurred to me that I could make them.......

Called at the allotment this morning and picked more beans, we have mince dough balls and beans for supper, I will soon look like a bean, must not grumble, I hate them when they have been frozen, so must eat them fresh......need to put the breadmaker on tinght and also make anoher pot of yoggi.....

Stll lusting for that pukka pad.........

Tootles - When I make a lot I often 'brown' the outsides on the hot spots and move to the cooler parts to finish cooking while I brown the next few. Once you get used to it it's very relaxing :D
Shez - If you ever find a way of doing a timed posting then please let me know! How you feeling now hun? YOu sound much chirpier. Kingdom Hospital was a tv drama shown about a year ago - in brief it was about a hospital that was distubed by hauntings.
Mimif - rofl at your husband probably being at a total loss as to why you didn't 'offer' to collect and deliver his lunch. My boys often do similar - state a particular predcament and wait for me to offer to sort it - if they only asked I'd be willing to help!
Catowen - the blaack ones are the best ;)
Hi Frugaljo - I thought it was you, but I've got people's names mixed up so many times on here. Luckily no one's taken offence yet... I think!
Doh, forgotten what I was going to say now.... Never mind - saves you having to read it lol :D

I asked yesterday and it sounded so good I had to go and buy! The Pukka Pad I now have is A4, has a stripey front cover and 5 dividers to help, well, divide, I suppose! There are A5 versions which have 3 dividers in them. Basically they are so much more than just a note pad!!
