Morning all
First time I've ever started the daily thread - I've probably cross posted with about 10 people by now.
Last day of work for 3 weeks for me :j Can't wait - so much to do.
Working today, another 12 hour day but I feel very organised - let's just watch it all unravel lol
B - HM toast
L - Wraps with assorted fillings
D - Something and pasta - yet to be decided.
Hope you all have a great day.

morning everyone .. got up early as expecting the fence guys to come and finish the last 3 fence panels today..my new fence is looking fandabidozi and its funny now that we have the fence and next doors plants and bushes not spredding 4 feet into our garden, how much bigger and wider our garden looks.. we laughed that the fence has probably put our house price up lol..

Morning Pooky and all who follow.
I was online at 6.00 this morning but didn't want to be the first one to post as this is the first time I have joined in the daily chat. (I thought it would be a bit cheeky of me tbh  ).
We are up and about early today as DD's best friend is moving away from the area and so we are having a final day-trip as a kind of send off for her. DD will be upset by tonight as she is very soft-hearted and will miss her friend loads (plus she is only 10). Still, we should have a great day out in York - provided the weathermen have gotten it wrong and it will really be a gorgeously sunny day.
Hope you all have a good, stress-free day today."Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Didnt sleep to well last night and have been awake for a while...munching on reduced nuts and raisins. Dont have alot of energy and thought it might give me a boost-but feel a little sick now:rolleyes: ...never mind!
WM doesnt need to go on today. DW needs emptying and toilet has been cleaned. House is generally clean and tidy though.
SIL has offered to have DD for a couple of hours today, so OH & I can have some time together away from the house and his care role IYSWIM. I dont have alot of money and neither does she, so to say thanks-Im going to raid my cupboards and take some stuff round for her (tinned, frozen etc)...I have quite alot where I have bought super cheap and she needs it more than me ATM.
Been invited to one of mates for dinner, so that will be nice and will be lovely to see a different 4 walls. OH & her OH get on well and will probably end up on the Xbox. DD will have to suffer Cinderella with their 4 yr old again:eek:  ...:rotfl:
Breakie: Bubble & Squeak
Lunch: Ham, salad roll
Dinner: Round friends
Anyway, Id best go as the postie has just been. No movement from upstairs yet.
Hugs to all.

Morning all
I've only just finished reading yesterdays thread, and want to say congrats to Pink Winged and PP please don't waste anytime and energy on those negative comments. You have motivated me loads on these boards since I've been lurking and finally joined in the other week.
anniebooklover have a great day out, hope the weather is good to you.
jockettuk, good luck with grounded DS
Pooky hope you start to wind down for your break
Dull and damp in Dorset today, kids are going to go through their DVD's for me today to get rid of the 'baby' ones, ony problem is my eldest is a real hoarder and won't let go of stuff.
And I have to clean the oven, it's fairly new and I want to keep it pristine, anyone any OS ideas, tried the Mega Index thread but the link to oven cleaning is broken.
I still haven't won my ironing battle either..
Right more T needed
Have a good day everyone

Welcome to old style anniebooklover - grab your vinegar and microfibre cloth and just jump right in!;)
Typing this with a tray of tea beside me - bliss.
Dishwasher is churning and washing is on the line - still have another couple of loads to do later.
After a complete de clutter over the last couple of days it is lovely to actually see the house and not the clutter if you know what I mean!;)
May make a home made pizza later as we have not had that for a while.

Have a good time with DH and ignore the trolls. Big hug! :A

Are you quite sure you do not need to see the doctor? It sounds like a really nasty wound on your hand."This site is addictive!"

Re oven cleaning - ages ago curryqueen said she made a paste of vinegar and bicarb - applied to oven - left for about an hour and then cleaned it all off. You need to rinse loads as the bicarb leaves a residue but the paste is much less "chemical"."This site is addictive!"

Morning All!
Pooky, have a great holiday! I'm back to w*** tomorrow, but as I've had 5 weeks off, can't complain! We don' seem to have got as much done as we'd planned, but have hardly had a spare moment. Where do the school holidays go?DH is having the next 2 days off with the children, and taking them clay pigeon shooting and fishing. They're then off the DH's parents next week.
Jockett, the fence sounds lovely. We're doing much the same in our garden, and it's lloking wider already. Have you a plant buying spree planned?
Hi, Annie! :hello: I completely undersatnd about your DD's friend moving away. It fels like the end f the world at the moment, but children are extremely rsilient. Is the friend moving far?
PP, how are you feeling this morning, hun? :grouphug:
Jo, my DD used to be a hoarder. Recently, we discovered Freecycle, and she now posts her stuff, chooses the recipient, and they thank her. We had a lovely 5 year old round yesterday to take her Sylvanian Family canal boat. DD now likes to Freecycle her old stuff as she sees it go to a good home.
Hi, Elona!
BM just finished, so fresh crust with HM damson jam, and coffee. Friends coming to stay tomorrow, so will be making Jamie's aubergine and mozarella bake, and plum crumble, so DH can just bung them in the oven, and open a bottle of red
Pink, thanks for your help last evening. :A I'm sure it'll come in later on when there are loads of posts to repond to.
Hi, Shez! Did we win the footie? :footie: Rice can be frozen. Alternatively, egg fried, with loads of veg, and small bits of meat, if you like.
Hi, Powie 69! :hello:
Kaz, how are you doing today, hun? See you have another trip with Moggins arranged next week. Where will you be going? Have a great time. :j
Moggins, hope you enjoy Longleat. Mr T is pretty generous that way :j Is your hand any better?
Post later, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Morning
Overslept this morning and I feel awful!
Had a busy day yesterday drove flippin miles as the M20 had an accident on it and had to work my way back to the south coast. Another busy one today, I need to shake a leg coz I have got to go to Tonbridge. OH taken his van in for an MOT I hope it passes as he has had to spend £1500 last week:eek:
Dinner at mum's tonight, don't go there often for a few reasons really, I always feel I have to breath in and have my hair perfect IYKSWIM?
I feel soooo tired I hope i'm not coming down with summat
Hope everyone is well
Take care0 -

Elona thank you, that sounds perfect. (leave for an hour always sounds good to me)
OH is amazed at the vinegar/Bicarb revolution in this house, the hob is sparkling already, but more than that our bath has neen driving me crazy since we moved here - a little over two years ago - I spent a small fortune on products until I found the Peroxide/Bicarb solution in the Mega Index. Stunned.
