Good morning all!
Sorry, haven't got time to do all the messages as I am late this morning and off again to Holiday Club shortly.
Welcome to newbies!
I just wanted to say thank you for all being such nice people on OS. I spent ages last night reading a thread on one of the other forums, and the people seemed to be so rude & unkind to each other. I found myself wanting to get back on here where everyone is so nice & supportive. But it was past my bedtime, so I decided to leave it til this morning!!!!
Anyway, have a good day all of you. (There seems to be a lot of fencing going on!)
... and thanks again!0 -
tinkerbelluk:T brilliant idea, I too wake up every morning full of good intentions and enthusiasm.
Even though I set myself mini tasks each day I haven't accomplished anything since the children have been off.
Think I'll follow your lead.

Morning all and welcome to the newbies to the thread. I've only been around a few days and everyone is so friendly.
Very excited this morning, we're off to Dover and then onto the ferry tomorrow into Beligum. Current the weather is WET!! which isn't good at all as we have an open top buggy that we are going it. Everyone please keep their fingers crossed that it dries up before 11 when we are going.
Well I did our online shopping last night to be delivered first thing we get back on Tuesday next week. This only line shopping business is fantastic, thanks Mr T.
Hester that's terrible hope your DS is baring up ok. What a shock.
Hope everyone has a fab bank holiday weekend, see you all when we get back next week.0 -
Welcome anniebooklover and madmel (and welcome back tinkerbell)
Moggins - hope the hand is better today, and you can enjoy your day out!!!
Well, postman woke me up at 8 this morning, but i didnt mind too much as he brought some full size bottles of shampoo and conditioner for me to test (and its good stuff too:T !!!!) I did try to go back to bed for an hour, but trouble is once im awake, thats it. Still not sleeping well (snowy and PP know what thats like!!!) but as ive been on holiday this last week, ive not been feeling too bad, much more relaxing just having my 2 around.
DS has a football match this afternoon, part of me is hoping it will be cancelled, as its raining but i think we will be spending a few hours in it later!!!!!
Still have plans to make those welsh cakes and mocha squares today, hopefully it will be third day lucky!!! I also have to sort out all this washing thats all around my house, and like frugel jo, really need to clean my oven (but thats not high on my list at the moment!!!)
Right, off to have a browse and then wash my hair with my new shampoo!!!!
Have a lovely day everyone
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

for your DS Hester. In my final year at school, which is equivalent to your A levels here, I had 6 friends die throughout the year so I know exactly what your poor DS is feeling. Its probably anger and utter helplessness. All you can do is be there for him with lots of love and lots of hugs. I'll be thinking of you both.
