    Morning All,

Last night I wrote off the driving lesson and sat at home copying down ideas from the home manual thread instead. I have loads of plans now and have sent DH a HUGE email with lots of bits from the organised home site for him to print out for me. Thanks to all of you who contributed to that thread, it really has been a revelation for me. I will get started on organising the folder today and may even get started on some cleaning!!

I do have a question for all you cooks.......do you use a book holder while you cook? I am sick of running back and forth to the book, trying not to get it dirty etc etc. Have been looking around on the net but they all look expensive - any ideas????

I am hibernating indoors for the rest of the day, anyone who asks me out will have to be told its my at home day. I feel as if we have been rushing about for the entire holiday period and I feel the need to veg at home today.

So, for now I am still in my dressing gown, the kids are in their jim jams and we havent had brekkie yet:p , we've just been watching tv for the last hour and a half :p. Might scoot off to get the poor wee blighters some food now.

    Have a lovely day all.

PP Congratulations on passing the one exam. I know you obviously wanted to pass all 3 but don't be too hard on yourself. I know what its like to fail exams, I've just qualified as an internal auditor and failed all my exams at least once. It is heart breaking after the amount of work you put in, but you passed one of them and you should take solase from that. Big huggles for you and keep your chin up.

    Morning all,

    Welcome to Anniebooklover and Madmel

Hugs :grouphug: to PurplePrincess - keep going and just tell yourself how brilliantly you've done to pass one.

Have tidied up from yesterday evening. I had made the chocolate yoghurt cake from one of the other threads - it was supposed to mature for 2 days - but dh spotted it last night and it was served for pudding along with the meringues and fruit etc. Not an awful lot left.

Off to do the school trouser and shoe run today whilst they are still in the shops - next thing you know they'll be decorating for Hallowe'en

Also going to make some muffins with some leftover fruits of the forest. Dinner will be somethiong meaty - we seem to have eaten pasta for days...

Made the tuna chedar chowder yesterday from the TWG and it was very nice, although I left out the celery seeds. DH has taken the rest to work in a flask today. The kids ate it under protest - it wasn't tomato from a tin which is their big treat - I wonder why I bother at times

    Have a good day everyone

    Morning everyone :hello:

Welcome to anniebooklover and madmel

Well, I had a wonderful time in London yesterday. I always love going down to London, but it was lovely to mooch around. After having a 2 hour lunch with my first friend, we then went for a wander - though Lincolns Inn Fields, past Temple Church and into St Brides, which we found amazing. Ended up around St Pauls......... from where we split up and I went to meet friend number 2! Lovely to see both of them, but I'm back next Tuesday to meet up with my old university housemates.

I've got loads of bits and pieces to sort out around the house today, I just don't know where to start . Having a shower might be a start.... :rotfl: Might also have a wander into town......

Have a good day one and all.

    Morning all.

Well had a very productive morning so far on the cleaning front. Hoovered top to botom all rooms cleaned, washing out and just about to put BM on before popping out to shops.

Am totally addicted to the stardrops gonna take some over to mum in Spain when we go next week. Alo I have some glass fronted units in the kitchen cleaned them with diluted white vinegar and microfibre cloth and like new. Is it sad to be so excited about cleaning products??
