    Op,

Do as the rep suggests and email it cant hurt your case any :) Make sure you give them 7 days to refund in full.

Keep a copy of the sent email and if they do not honour the promise don't take any more guff and just issue in court against the Ltd company.
  • Hi,
Same thing has happened to me too.

    I got a reply today:

"We're seeing a few updates but it's not really helping the situation...

To resolve this delay we've now ordered stock from 3 additional suppliers, meaning one of them is guaranteed to deliver within 7 days and your order can be sent. I do apologize and promise we're doing everything possible to dispatch your order in the shortest time.

I can offer a 15% discount on dispatch should you proceed."

I have asked for a refund, if i dont get my money back i will use legal action.
Thank god my cousins a lawyer.

Please do not buy any items of Ammoclothing.co.uk anyone who is thinking about buying anything, its a scam!

Unfortunately, I find myself in the same position as you.

Contact them and CANCEL THE ORDER.

You're entitled to do this (distance selling regulations)

After that, if they refuse to refund you, CONTACT YOUR CARD ISSUER

IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IT'S A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD - BOTH CAN CHARGE BACK THE AMOUNT TAKEN. Retailers don't generally like this, as they have to pay various fees when this happens - but you will get your money back.

Tryfive, are you sure about that?

I thought that it was a minimum of £100 spend for a credit card refund.

But of course happy to be proved wrong.
  • I've had similar problems with this company. Why are they allowed to continue trading?
Although I think mine issues have been finally sorted. The emails I was sent are almost identical to the above.

The op has already done this, and looking at the supplied email, it looks like a generic CS email so what difference would it make?

The rep seems most unhelpful so id be inclined to just issue a chargeback op as theyre already breaching the DSR's.
    Back by no demand whatsoever.

True but a few of them may well be outside of the chargeback time limit now surely? TBH if it were me and i didn't have my cash or goods and a chargeback was off the table i'd already have started proceedings!
  • Unfortunately I've fallen victim to this too - shame I hadn't read these reviews before ordering. I have tried tracking my order, but I keep receiving what appears to be an automated reply:Good Afternoon,

I'm sorry you've been waiting. I have confirmed the following:

This order can be delivered between the 07/06/2010 - 11/06/2010 and I can offer a 15% discount if you wish to continue.

    Kind Regards,

I've received this exact reply to two different emails I sent. I asked for a full refund through my email (their reply does not specify what should be done NOT to proceed with the order, or to cancel the order; this is against the law).

Please do not be tempted to order from this website, it is a scam, and you will never receive the goods.

    Good Morning

Well, still waiting for my refund. Iv contacted trading standards now and the police who are looking into this for me.
Like other's have said i just get fobbed off with the same emails, ammoclothing.co.uk might think im giving up on this but no chance, i will keep bumping this page as often as i can to warn others not to buy from these theives.

ammoclothing.co.uk might think this matter is now closed but i can assure ammoclothing.co.uk that it is not.

    Hi,
I wish I had checked this website yesterday!! - I ordered a polo shirt yday and received an email confirming my order and payment immediately. I have since received three emails which state the following:
'Thank you for placing your online order. I have confirmed payment was successful and the following:
Your order can be delivered between the 09/06/2010 - 13/06/2010 and I can offer a 15% discount if you wish to continue. I apologize for any inconvenience and please let us know if you want to proceed with or cancel this order.
Please note: If you have already received this email then please ignore it.'
    Kind Regards,

I am aware my payment was succesful as the money was taken from my bank immediately! I have replied to the emails cancelling my order and requesting a refund but after looking at this website I am not hopeful of receiving one.
An earlier post states that they had phoned the company. I cannot find a phone number on their website and would be grateful if anyone could let me know the number as I would prefer to speak to someone direct rather than sending emails.
