you're supposed to be an adult though aren't you?
Yes, it is kids that resort to childish insults in the playground and the only one I see doing that is you.
Wildly my mind beats against you, yet the soul obeys. :heartpuls

ok phantom, maybe i was a bit harsh but lisa or whatever she was called just went straight in with both boots kicking the bloke when he was already down. She had no sympathy for the fact his relationship had broken down, she was just hell bent on airing feminist views giving everything to the OP's ex.

you sound like a bone idle miserable old cow.
The blokes girlfriend has left him for another bloke after doing nothing wrong. He did exactly the same as your husband does, works while you sit at home filing your nails and watching daytime tv.
He has also supported a child that isn't his so he's entitled to more that his fair share of the profits from the split up. What was his reward for upgrading her life? a kick in the b*ll*cks from a money grabbing selfish cow.
It's just a shame he didn't realise what she was like before and kicked her back to the council estate.

You've never worked? i take it from what you're saying you left education and got married straight away? or did you just sit around before finding somebody to leach off?

lol, dude makes me look liberal. His point well made though

I suppose it depends on just exactly what you were expecting her to sling.

Well the fact that we have to go through all that, yet many women choose to do it again a second, third or even more time. Seriously the maternal instinct makes women do things that when you put them down on paper make you look like a masochist or insane!

And I don't frequent in forums that are populated by estranged mothers only. The forums I spend most time in are this one, ebay community boards and the channel 4 forums, none of which are parenting or single parent sites. Yet everytime single parents are discussed it's usually the men who have walked away from the kids, very rarely the women.
Unfortunately you are not going to be steered from your point of view that you are somehow bonded greater with your children than their father, however it's not my loss it's his, as for frequenting female dominated threads take a look at your post history I did. This man has come on here with his heart in his mouth and his head in his hands and all you lot can do is tell him how lucky he is! Give the man a break. There are plenty of the "we are the girlies don't mess with us" threads about to make your point it doesn't have to be done here.

Ben, thats all I expect from them, they are the forum "hard done by" femails, they cant see past the meal ticket that their child represents, all us straight thinking people can see that alot of children would be better off with their fathers, the courts *are* catching up with modern opinion, until this becomes common we will simply have to show these feminine extremists that Dad knows best. yes.

Come on now, seriously? If you're that great, then why did she find another bloke instead of you and why is it that she can't stand being with you to such a degree that she wants to leave you?
well i can answer this question easy - my ex cheated on me. why? because she had eyes for sum1 else - so its not the case of "if your that great, when why did she find another bloke" - but infact of who she sees and who wants to be with her aswell.... women do cheat you know... and you can develope feelings for others.....

to the OP - all i could say to this will be, if she does not have her name on the morgage, then legally, i think you should be ok - if she has her name on the morgage, then i woudl get a solicitor, and talk. might beable to come to some agreement.

the one thing i would like to know, is why do some women think they have 100% over us men? Everytime, its the woman who wins, we own a house, they marry us, they cheat on us, we catch them out, they divorce us due to them cheating and they get 50% of everything when they came in with nothing??

same with the opposite way - men come in to relatiionship with nothing, women had everything and they have to split it 50/50

im not being funny or that with that comment, i just genuinly would like to know why the legal system is so unfair.

Yes I can tell from your bitter posts that you are a shining example of "straight thinking".

Just to let you know, a court will only look at what in their opinion is in the best interests of the child. They don't give two hoots what the mother or the father want, it is the childs welfare that is the paramount consideration. This is based on many aspects and is thoroughly investigated before any decision is made. Also, aren't the presiding judges predominantly men and so would not have the "extreme femenist bias" views when making an award for custody or money that you seem to think much of society has?

The legal system has been hijacked by feminine extremists in the past, thank Germaine Greer and their like, but there is light on the horizon, society is seeing past the "maternal" femenist ideal and are starting to look past these simplistic ideas and are seeing that in many cases children are better placed with the father, rather than a mother whose simple claim to being a better parent is the fact that they have a womb that carried a child. This is especially true when it comes to a mother who cannot keep her legs closed, yet still expect to retain the children, sign on for benefits and claim money from the father. I'm sure it wont go on for much longer if sanity prevails.
