Freecycles loss may well be my gain then!

Maybe I should also not be so lazy and do a google search for a recipe :rotfl:trouble is it must be idiot proof, my kitchen skills are rather basic.

Thank you both, I may have to give this a try as the figs are just there on the tree rotting away.

well I have been waiting in all morning for someone to collect a used gas fire and they haven't turned up and its been 3/4 days since I said they could have it. Looks like will be relisting it then! Am just waiting on another email with an excuse as to why they have not turned up this time :) I will just be ignoring the email in that case though.

    On my freecycle today

"We are having a baby and need some extra storage. A large chest of drawers would be perfect."

Would have thought a cot would be better ;)

  • Well I put 2 items on freecycle this afternoon. Had about 10 responses so far. One person has asked for both and has asked to deliver, they said they would pay petrol but what happens if I get there and they aren't in/decide they don't like the items, so makes it a wasted journey.
Also got an email at 6:26pm saying "Hi how long is the **** as i wont a 3ft long one"
Then another from the same person at 6:28pm saying "hi you can ring **** on ************* or i can ring you".
Hello? Were they not taught their pleases and thank you's as a child?
Anyway I'm going to give it another day to see what other responses I get. I'm sure there is someone genuine out there that really needs the items!
