Listed as part of a long post on ours, with a "will split" option:-
7 boxes of "gentleman's magazines", various levels of depravity, mostly circa
late 90s/early 00s, some American but mostly English
Do you think anyone would be brave enough to put in a request? :rotfl::heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

When I was doing my A Level in Art I did a project using collage from old magazines so I asked on Freecycle if anyone had any. I got a few 50's mags, some 50's wallpaper and fabric and an enormous stash of 1970's !!!!!!. It was brilliant, so very funny and perfect for what I needed0 -
Just advertised an item on my local group asking people to confirm when they can collect - second response was "would love it if still available please". Well at least they said please... but didn't mention what the item was or when they could collect. Hmm, I shall bin that one I think!
Another advert I saw earlier was a guy wanted for a fish tank for his son - seriously, do people not use cots or beds any more?!0 -
It's such a shame to see these on freecycle. If I could I would....but if they didn't go, would they going to the Tip? I hope not.I am looking for a loving home for my two family cats - Jack and Bella.
Jack and Bella are nearly 5 years old, they are brother and sister and must go as a pair, as they are lifelong companions.
Bella is a black cat and has been speyed. She lost her front right leg in an accident when she was a kitten, but this does not affect her mobility or happiness in any way. She is able to get around without any problems at all and has no medical problems. Bella is a house cat and is nervous around strangers but very loving and affectionate with her family and with everyone else too once she has sussed them out.
Jack is black with white socks and a white neck/belly, who has been neutered. He is an outdoor cat who loves to get out and about. He is also very loving and affectionate, and is much more confident and playful than Bella.
Neither cat is aggressive, and they are excellent around children - even ones who harass them, like our youngest son. Both cats are free of any medical problems, although we are not up to date with their vaccinations - basically, we cannot afford to look after them properly, which is the reason we are offering them to a new family/owner.
If you can provide a loving home for our cats and look after them better than we can, please get in touch.
Thanks,0 -
Can you imagine turning up and taking these cats away from their family? Heart breaking stuff.
Would rather send them a fiver to buy some value biscuits for the poor sods than take them away from their home
If I was that desperate I would rather go without gas or electric than my 2 cats.0 -

Hi
Has anybody got a spare ipad lying around that they no longer need as I want one but cannot afford it. I have a seriously ill cat that needs to be destroyed so I am saving to have it put down. I can collect from anywhere.
Many thanks
Hah I know the group that the iPadgate incident occurred in!
There was then a follow up "!!!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS THIS IS RIDICULOUS" post from someone that got through and then a moderator apology for the ridiculous (and emotional blackmail aspect) of the post that got through.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
and this got past the mods how????Heyup,
This is a bit of an unusual post but I'll give it a shot nevertheless...
I have either an LG Pop or Nokia 6600 Slide mobile phone with a T-Mobile contract until June 2011. With it you get 300 minutes and unlimited texts.
The reason I am advertising this is that I want to upgrade to a £20 contract with a new phone but T-mobile clearly do not want another 2 years commitment and another £5 a month... but they'll give me 2 contracts and the one I've got transfer to someone else.
Thanks for readingloves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

As a freecycle list owner I would guess that it was from an unmoderated member. Freecycle as a movement strongly discourages full moderation so it is inevitable that the occasional rogue post gets through.0
