We offered a lot of children's bedroom furniture.

One response was "I want your items, call me on 07....." a few other illiterate demands too. :wall:

The one with manners got the lot.

On ours this week we have had requests for a Car or Motorbike as the current Car was leaking Water, we have had someone continuously ask for a Trailer to suit a 23ft Boat, oh and a 'I have been mugged while on holiday, please send me £1000 to help us till we get home' scam.

I dont know what all the hubba is with " i will only give it to someone who can't afford it" "i dont want to give it to someone who will resell it"

When i freecycle i dont care who it goes to as i want rid of it.

The whole point of freecycle is to re-use items and wasnt set up for the poor non working , how much of a sob story i can give person.

I never give my stuff to anyone who says they cant afford to buy it , or who tells me the sob story of being unemployed with 20 kids/ 3 dogs/ ten cats and a ferret.

But i do only give to people who are polite and write more than "i'll pick it up"

Hi, I am looking for a fairly large wooden dolls house to start a new project and collection. I have little experience in this, however I am very interested in pursuing this creative hobby.
I would like the house to be in a fairly good condition on the outside, Preferably Victorian/Georgian style with at least 6-8 rooms.

Damn! I have one hanging about but it has 10 rooms, never mind!

My daughter starts college on Monday and needs a reliable laptop that has wireless internet. Her own laptop broke some time ago & was beyond repair.
I know it's not the sort of item people like to give away but it's worth a try

Well I managed to go to college and complete my course without a laptop so I'm sure she can. Also I'm there will be computers at college she can use.

I know this is a long shot but can anyone help. My puppy has chewed up the library copy of The Hunt for Atlantis by Andy McDermott in hardback. If you have a copy that you no longer want it would be most gratefully received. Thanks for reading this Julie

I am after several bits for a young couple that have now moved into their first place and are expecting a baby. They both work but are on a low wage. So any help would be realy grateful, i am collecting on their behalf as neither of them drives at present.

They are looking for the below items....

Bedside tables x2
Chest of draws
Curtains and poles
Cot and Bedding
Travel cot
Travel systerm
Sterliser
Baby Bath
New born baby clothes (neutural as they are not finding out if its a bo or a girl)
Sofa, in clean condition

The bit I liked most of all was "I REQUIRE"...

wanted - a smallish car *******
i need a ride that is small and i was wondering if anyone could give me one. as
long as its got 4 wheels and works fine i dont care. i would most like a peugout
