Hi I realise this is asking for alot, but I wondered if anyone has a caravan they no longer need please? I am looking for any caravan to repair etc for our family to holiday in the next summer holidays. I would be willing to travel anywhere to collect. Anything would be much appreciated.
Also my friend has just moved in a house and needs just about everything! She would be so grateful for anything from a sofa, washing machine, electric cooker to a double bed. Any help would be great please.
Many thanks for reading!
I wonder if charity shops that sell mostly furniture and even second hand furniture shops are feeling the pinch ,if people are asking for ( but not allways getting perhaps ) all this free gear from Freegle ?As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !0 -
The best one i've seen for a whilewanted - a smallish car *******
i need a ride that is small and i was wondering if anyone could give me one. as
long as its got 4 wheels and works fine i dont care. i would most like a peugout
106 i love that car but as long as i can get a car i dont care
If it wasn't for them wanting a car, two old bikes in my garage would have sufficed for a ride (rather than the one they are trying to take us on)?Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
This morning I posted a 'wanted' request for a Brownie's shirt on my local Freecycle.
We were caught short; due to a cancellation at one day's notice my daughter could attend Brownies tonight.
I received three spam mails for junk sites and the one below.
Hiya I hav a brownies hooded jacket thing not sure of age but can check.
Im asking 5 pounds for it thou
That was my first 'wanted' request. Never again.0 -

Don't despairMost Brownie packs allow (even expect) new recruits to come in their own clothes for the first few weeks. Here, you don't need the uniform until the week when you're enrolled.
I'd report that e-mail to the moderators of your site; asking for money is definitley against the rules.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

We have a free sell bit on ours and I put DD's Brownie uniform on there (hoodie,2 x shirts, 2 x trousers) and asked for £10 as most of it was like new. I had a few people wanting to give me a "couple of quid" for it and in the end I took it to ebay where it sold for £27.
Some people don't appreciate bargains.
As far as the £5 hoodie I'd have probably snapped her hand off if it was in good condition, though I don't agree with her contacting you in that way she probably thought she was helping.0 -
I fear the local people felt the same way. :rotfl:
Unfortunately when I buy in bulk I sometimes get several boxes of books that I just don't want.
If you were anywhere near me I could pick them up and take them to the Oxfam Bookshop. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Stick it out the front with "free" attached to it
My mate had a lovely 1950s set of bedroom furniture in burr walnut veneer, Talboy, cabinet with mirror and dressing table/chest of drawers with a big mirror too. He left it outside with a sign saying free please help yourself, no one touched it for 3 days, I changed the sign to £30 please knock and ask and it was gone the next morning. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. must admit to being cheeky myself. I have seen requests on there for "free teaching resources" and having given away all my freebies I was left with the sellable items (£20 books etc). And yes I have sent them an e-mail saying "I have unfortunalty given away all my freebies, but good luck with your search. If nothing comes up I have the following xxxxxx for xxxxxxx (individual prices)."
Its up to them if they want to pay the few quid I was asking or just ignore it.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Mine asked for " peter kay tickets..."
