I would love to sometimes, but I dont have the guts to. I guess the best thing is to not let them get the better of you, post them here instead for a rant.

A while ago someone posted on ours urgently needing a kenwood food processor because she desperately wanted to start baking with her kids. I emailed her back offering a bowl and wooden spoon. Funnily enough she never replyed:p

Bloody right, too. All the schools I've worked at have used bowls and spoons when the kids were cooking, not food processors. Granted, they were all making rice krispy cakes, but still.

I posted an offer this morning on mine, the first response was 'tell me more about this so I can decide if I want it or not', um, how does 'no' grab you sunshine.

The thing is it is an electrical item that has developed a minor fault. I have the patience of a gnat so just went and got a new one, i listed the make and model, the age, exactly what was wrong, what the trouble shooting guide on the internet suggested it was and where to find details of how to repair it.

What else could I have added?

Soolin, be fair, you could have offered to deliver it and show them how it worked.....

A 12 month warranty would not have gone amiss either......

My faith is restored, I've just had a retired gentleman (he mentioned that) email me to say his item had developed exactly the same fault and it took about 15 minutes to repair, and he was happy to mend mine for me without charge as well if it would help.

    Isn't that great!
