This really tickled me...
WANTED: shears (*****)
I have a small bush which grows fast and need to keep it trimmed, so only
a small pair would do. I am presently using a pair of scissors which takes
forever.
I have to hold back from replying

well on my freecycle, a lady posted offering a newish double futon - so I emailed as we currently have no sofa at all which is not fun at 33 weeks pregnant lol! however she will only give it to someone if they can give her a single futon in return.... we have nothing so can't "swap"
I said she should sell it on ebay in that case as she would at least get money back to buy another one.
Its not swap shop though! It's freecycle...
your next move .........Wanted single futon ? :jAs Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !0 -

This has just been posted on a fairly local one to me, I can't quite understand why they need replacing so urgently?
My daughter's Nintendo DS and Games were either lost or stolen last weekend whilst travelling from X to X by bus. As such I need to replace them ASAP. I thought I'd try Freegle. I would be hugely grateful for any help. Yes I have travelled from X to X sometimes and it can be a perilous jorney ( with or without a DS ) I suggest sticking to the far more well known routes such as A to B or even M (25 ) to M ( 25 )
Ahh ! takes me back to the mid ninetys when game boys first came out - big chunky things with a screen the size of a postage stamp - we couldnt afford one for oldest sons birthday ,so wrapped up an imitation bubble bath one instead which had a water game feature on it ( from QD I think )
- I had a big old VHS tape recorder and was videoing him tearing the wrapping paper off - still have the film and you can actually see the moment a lump appearred in this 8 year old boys throat when he realised what it was and was trying not to cry ! :rotfl:
- ahhh good old days !As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !0 -

Ooooh I had one of those bubble bath ones! I completely forgot until nowI also got an actual Gameboy because my parents managed to find a second hand one complete with case and games, which I still have
It was the only thing I wanted and the best Christmas ever. I still prefer playing it to my DS.

By complete coincidence we have just started to transfer some old home movies for the in laws on to DVD. On one is my DS (now 17) aged around 8 on christmas morning. The first thing he unwraps is one of those Gameboy bubblebaths, the next thing he unwraps is the real thing and he squeals with excitement.
He still has both....0 -

I want some DVDs because there's nothing on TV!
The other ones that annoy me are the ones that say I've been told I need to lose weight to help my illnesses. I don't want to go to the gym so can I have an exercise bike, rowing machine and treadmill?
Makes you want to write back saying walking is still free...0 -
